SRL Archive - RS3 Script Requests

Give me ideas. Not an autoalcher or herb cleaner, they're too easy.
I am familiar with object finding, DTMs and SPS walking. What more should I need?

I say this to everyone who wants to make a first script - make a script that you would want to use right now.

As to what more should you need - do you know how to use TPA's to find objects and NPC's?

No, so far I have used findobjcustom to find npcs.

Definetly a miner. You will practise color finding droping and can do walking & banking.

Should do a miner for Lumby Mithril.

This. You will not have any fun at all making it, unless you want to use it yourself.

Definitely make a script that you want to use for yourself. That is the issue I was having with my rock crab trainer, I lacked motivation for it and I didn't use it myself so there was not nearly enough testing done for it.

If you use it yourself you will have a decent motivation to test the script and fix it so that you can use it.
The couple of script that I have made that I created because I needed them for myself run beautifully as I spent a lot longer fine-tuning the script.

Find something on the forums that's outdated or not working well.
Try and script one on your own from scratch that work's better, if it's something you need to use yourself than even better.. you will release something useful as well on top of that

A Miner is always a good script to do, I think I will do one after my Collector, but can someone put a link on how to find object with TPA ? I think it will be good for me and peetu:sasmokin:

This is a new idea, i dont think this script has been made before and it seems fairly easy to make, basicly is a firemaker burning, but which picks up the ashes and banks them. and gets more logs out. the reason for this is because ashes are around 300gp and good profit for f2p player. also your leveling. you would get a hell of a profit wil maple. it there only like 30gp!! but make it for every logs.
