do astral runes make a profit? if so is it decent? And what would you guys recommend for money making, scripts whise and without scripts.

Ess is 150, astrals are 175.

If you're making single astrals, the profit would be like ~100k/hour.
If you're making double astrals, The profit would be ~400k/hour.

so its really not good money…

It used to be much higher profit. 800k/h ~ 1.2m/h(?). It will probably rise again sooner or later. So don't worry. :)

With double astrals you are making like 300-400k per hour. So a decent profit if your botting like 15/7.

Should Jagex keep their word and follow through on Optimus this month, then we'll see a substantial rise in rune prices once again. At the moment I'm making an "OK" profit from crafting Nature runes myself with Naturez RA, I've not release it yet to the Members section because I would like to update it after the nuke has passed. Just incase Optimus brings fourth something that would currently shut Naturez down.

Just as before, right now is the prime time to learn to script with SRL.

You're better off using Flight's ZMI script for xp and making money another way.

I've been using an astral script and making a good chunk of cash. The scripting itself also isn't terribly difficult and with 82 rc you make great cash.
