Well that's just the way it is I guess. Pm me I might be able to help. Does it require a lot of walking? If not I think I might be able to give it a shot. If not try some other reputable members that have made numerous scripts and can do what you need. Understand that it may not be kept private.

My guess was a kid who might know how to write scripts. I'm not going to hang him for USD8. Not worth the blood on my hands man. I gave him some happiness for a month. I wrote that off to charity in my community.

I got a nephew that I help with membership to the game so I know how it is. It's all good.

Ahhh… I thought you meant the guy got srl membership here off of you. But if he did scam you in any way you really should report him. Don't want him getting anyone else right?

I think maybe he bit off more than he could chew. Truth be known I felt like I should have known better also. Him needing a game card maybe I should have realised MAYBE this guy does not have a high toon which is what it came down to. He would have to level his toon up to the area which would take far too long.

I think we should just let it die a peaceful death. I did not gather from him that he meant harm. I think he would have said BUZZ off or ignored me if he was doing it spitefully or as a scam. I think afterwards he just realised he messed up.

Report that guy to a mod for gods sake. Even you are happy with your cash gone, the community should know who that scum is and that some punishment is dealt to show our zero tolerance to scamming here.

The community is against buying and selling.

If a user goes against that rule and decides to do it anyway, he must deal with the consequences.


I have gone over the rules, buying and selling is worth an infraction, however, scamming wasn't in the rules because if the users abide by the rule, there is no possible way to get scammed.


Conclusion - the person who scammed you hasn't broken any rules. You have broken the rules and as a result it has has an adverse effect on your Runescape Account
