Today is my first sons birthday. He is turning 2 I'm glad I get to spend the whole day with him n my family. Last year I wasn't able to but this year I'm here to see his smile

My father was like that til my mom divorced him so u know where in coming from and why this day is important

I know the feeling, I'm a truckdriver so often away from home for days (sometimes weeks), nothing but internet to stay in touch. I remember missing several birthdays wishing I was at home.

Make it extra special for the kid, compensate for future eventualities :D
