I think other members can see different people's contributions to the forum more so than an even smaller group (SSRL). Seeing how few people were active before in the members section, I'd venture a guess that SSRL is even less active.

I've released ~10 scripts (including a multi-skill script) over more than a year and I still haven't figured out what goes into attaining an SRL Scripter cup. Yet, I've seen people that have never publicly released a script have one.

I think it would go a long way for showing appreciation for people learning and releasing/updating scripts. I feel naked.

I understand it is annoying. Though it may seem unfair, the cup rewards are hard to get when you try it. Sometimes you might just receive one. Some people make three mediocre scripts and get it while others make five masterpieces and don't receive one. It's a mix of luck and expectations. I just think they expect a lot of you, hence you will have to work hard for a cup. Maybe someone just didn't noticed? Most ssrl members aren't active in the scripts section.

I know it feels unfair. Perfect example is paradoxium receiving the tutorial cup without writing a tutorial. At first I found it unfair, I did a lot of research, spent a lot of time, rewrote my tutorial at least four times. He just created a list of links to other tuts. But after a while I realized he deserved it. He spend time creating that list. It should be rewarded. I believe that is the difference between a reg. user receiving a cup and a srl member receiving a cup. We have to work harder cause our expectations are also higher.

See the cups as a motivation to write more scripts, never expect to receive one or else they will work counter productive when you don't.

I think I got my scripter cup after like 10th script or something. I think you would deserve it.
