Did you have insurance on the phone? Although your home insurance may cover it. I've got an S2 as well, and it's the first expensive phone I've ever owned, so insurance was a must have.

I live in Baltimore, MD. Never gotten mugged once, oddly enough. That said, when I had a car it was broken into multiple times, and after the sun sets you can hear gunshots relatively frequently (usually coming from the direction of one of the housing projects).
