Well for about a month or 2 I might be without a decent Internet connection, so I just want a vps that can handle running my account :) it gives me the opportunity to get many of those 99's I want without me interrupting it all the time to play legit :)

So just thoughts and opinions are welcome :)

I'm running dotblock and it runs pretty flawlessly, its about 50 dollars per month

I only want to run my one account, not farm or anything

I don't think a vps would be worth it if you only want one account…

Im only running one account… vps hosting is expensive. Im using a vps because my computer cant handle simba.

Upgrading your computer or buying a new one is better than using a VPS.

true but I bought my current computer off craiglist for 120$ and I cant afford anything but a vps atm

also, do you use that vps and or is it legitimate; can you use windows vps for no extra charge?

I do not, but Wizzup rents one that he hosts SRL Stats and the Simba builder on. About Windows, not sure. It says you can and probably for the same price as Linux.

There has to be some catch, those prices are amazing for vps!

Kimsufi isn't a VPS. It's a dedicated server.

Windows Server costs 30€ extra per month for "Windows Server Subscription". That price is without that price added on, assuming you're going to choose GNU/Linux which is free.

Oh yeah, my bad. @OP: You should use Linux and then just get Wine and bot that way. Or Simba + Lape + lape_fixes branch of SRL :p.

ohhh ok, well I'm using simba at my current vps hoster its 35 a month plus the 14.95/mo windows server 2008 subscription which runs simba perfectly :D

Don't listen to this bullshit. A cheap normal linux vps can run simba as good as a 2x more expensive windows.
Bought my VPS 2 days ago and received it yesterday. It took quite a while of fiddling and changing stuff but I finally managed to run simba perfectly on centos 5.6. I used warp 1 from http://www.photonvps.com/xen.html which costed me about 13$/month with a discount. I can refer to you the guides I used if you wish

i can vouch. used photonvps warp 2 for other bots. ran about 3 bots if i wanted. never had problems.
