I'm tired of her acts to get attention. First of all she tells everyone how awsome she is. Suddenly she is total shit.

Secondly she deletes all her threads and posts because someone said something to her at IRC? Or because she can't use pornographic picture in her sig.

I think that this has come way too far and needs some actions.

I've just ended up ignoring her for the most part, it's getting annoying.

It's something we can not really do something about.. Accept it, but give her some positive attention, she needs it.

I have her ignored on the forums as well as the majority of her nicks ignored on IRC.

I'm SO glad I'm not the only one who see's it from this point of view. The arrogant attitude is really annoying. Back-seat moderator, this is also against the rules and calls for an infraction. I really have little respect for people who think the world revolve around them.

A bit off topic, but I get the same "high-and-mighty" impression from Sin alot of the time.

I tried being her friend, and she can be cool, but the latest stunt was the last straw.

Also, I feel the same way about Sin.

I find Sin a little bit High Up (Being extremely proud) But he haven't done such a tricks as Demise has done.

I know that she has some problems (Read fro other thread) But what so ever it doesn't grant her permission to act like a moron.

I feel the same about both of them but I think that's just the way they are. It doesn't really bother me anymore.

She threatened to end her life, and when I told her not to do it she basically told me to F off and leave her alone. That's not the only time she's done it either, this was about the third time. Each time I gave in and gave her the attention that she wanted.

I've had really good friends commit suicide, so I don't take someone using that for attention lightly.

No kidding, that's not something you joke around with. I've also had two of my own friends commit suicide in the past, things like that leave scars on everyone, I'm sure you can understand, Kyle.

Really there is not much we can do. Just don't jab at her, like a thread like this in her view. If it is really necessary for you to discuss something about her, keep it in higher boards.

I know I went through it but I kept it to myself and very few people as it was actually a consideration and not a cry for attention. That being said, we aren't in a position to call her's a cry for attention. We can't read her mind and know her thoughts. She could be very serious but may be a public person. We all cope and deal with things in different ways.

Just try to ignore her if it bothers you and don't post anything that may set her off. Hers is a situation that needs to be handled very delicately.

Honestly thats really nice of you Kyle, but it definitely is unfair of her to put that on you.

I'v takes lot of crap in my life. And I'm being honest. If someone is shit to me, then I will try to be nice, but if the ship keeps coming. I will say what I say.

Yes sounds like true bipolarity. Manic disorder resulting in upper highs and super lows, and doubts about everything all-the-time. Chemical unbalance it is. Dangereous it is too.

I fear that will only be counter productive. From what I've read/seen she doesn't appear to be reasonable.

She had a signature that pushed the limits really, and then basically moaned to Wizzup? on IRC that she should be allowed to have it because smurg had a link in his sig for his site. When he (Wizzup?) told her that she needed to change it, she basically melted down.

I was honestly confused about the whole situation.

More in general: really wants attention, easily stepped on the toes, and yes the extreme mood swings. Claims suicide attempts, but no idea how serious she is about those.
There's no evil in her. But honestly she needs (RL) help we can't give her.

This is the kind of stuff I'm talking about:

Demise makes a merchanting script. Home offers her a piece of code he created himself to better her script. He also released this function to the public to use. Also, take note that this function was already in the SRL library from aeons ago.

Demise gets upset that Home released this (his own) function to the public. She asks him not to do that because it was her idea to make a GE (merchanting) script.

It is back up for whoever wants to use it, Home please do not rewrite part of it and release on public forums since that will crash the profits as registered users gain the ability to make these type of scripts. That's been in the library for ages. You can't take credit for "code inspired" from your script when actually the code and basic idea have been there all along. If that's the case, then what's to stop Rasta Magician from coming here and saying the same?

Obviously not meant to offend in any way, but do you understand what I'm saying? You can't put a lock on an idea. But if it were actual code straight from your script then yeah, you should say something about that.

Seems to me like she was embarrassed from me having made that post that showed she had no right to tell Home to remove his function, and simply didn't want others to see my post. As requested I removed what I said, but it's quite obvious why she wanted it removed.

Indeed, and my fear is if someone (ie: Fakawi) trys to talk to her she may take that the wrong way and melt down on that. But maybe you (Fakawi) will be the one to get through to her as you mentioned on another thread that you had a bipolar co-worker. I really do hope she will listen to you. She says she had meds for it but I believe she is either lying or not taking them, or needs to go back to her doctor for a dosage change.

It seems like weekly I have to have a lengthy conversation with her and re-convince her that the forum is not conspiring against her, amongst other things. TBH I have little time to keep having the same conversation over and over and it is starting to take a tole on my emotionally aswell. I would like to be there for her and help her, but that is really not my role. I really do not know where to go from here with her.

That's what I have been doing, and your point about it affecting you too is exactly how I felt. It's not anyone's job to keep her from flipping out or melting down. There are doctors for a reason.

The other day I gave him/her some money and tried to give him/her some tips on staking for rebuilding his/her bank on RS. It went somewhat well until he/she decided to suddenly go all in after I said not to. That resulted in him/her losing and pretty much flipping shit and getting angry at me, leaving and returning shortly after, and getting even more angry and dramatic at me (for something that wasn't my fault in any way).

Any kind of e-psychiatry probably won't do any good though, no matter what kind of silly things he/she does. Trying to diagnose someone you don't really know and have never met with something over the internet (without any kind of qualification(?)) will most likely just make things worse. At least if you start talking about bipolar etc. This could all just be a fun game for him/her. Intentionally confusing or angering people is a fairly common hobby on the internet.

We have no qualification of doctors, she would need to go talk about her issues IRL.

If anything, the discussions about her were kept here in the SSRL section (unless it's true someone's leaking info from here). I've seen some posts in the past in like the public section, some harsh comments were made about her, but that was quite a while in the past. She/he is emotionally unstable, she/he draws a lot of attention, and is highly frustrated with her/his life's situation. The constant: I am supercool vs. I am nothing is also typical of bipolarity (as she/he states having). This will not change and will continue to be a problem. Removing the thread about DTM's was very immature and based of wrong assumptions and these kinds of odd things can be expected from him/her in the future.

Actually our discussions should not have been the reason she left (on a side note she never left, I see her online & posting daily) because our discussions are kept here in this section. Do you not find it a little odd that the day after (was it the day after or the same day?) this topic was made she made, yet again, created another "Apology & leaving" post?

Well, she came talking to me, and then I was like "okay, I'm just going to be completely honest with you". And said things to her as they were, with a bit of a harsh tone, without trying to be nice about it. After I told her why some applications have 1 yes on them if they are completely horrid because she was asking why. Now she does it to pretty much all applications, and states it too with a "why not ^.^" :-/

She does listen and pick up what you have to say if you just be honest to her without trying to be nice and sweet.
