SRL Archive - RS has been updated.

I think they will be really helpful for farming and general convenience, but do you guys think they will make law runes go down a lot? :O

They will drop a little bit, but I don't think they will drop that much.

Nah, I felt the same way at first but the delay in time makes law runes still needed. I have mixed feelings about it. I remember finally getting 55 magic and the relief that I didn't ever have to walk to seers village again lol. Jagex is making the game easier and easier.

It's too easy to get around now. Home teleports to edgeville and lunar isles I welcome from any book, but all the major city hubs being accessible by home teleport takes away some of the progression convenience gains.

I'm all in favor of the update. I don't understand what was so skillful of using a teleport spell before, that this update makes the game "easier".

Too be honest I don't care about Jagex making the game easier.

Also can I remember you that you are on a bot website. I don't get how you could be against jagex making the game easier… when you cheat/bot AKA make the game MUCH easier.

I think law runes will drop drastically and teletabs will be dropping too.

Lodestones have been placed a small distance from town centres, to ensure that current teleport methods are still a more efficient (and much faster to cast) option in most situations. This has not stopped us from tweaking existing teleport items, however, to make their teleport locations more convenient.

They're trying to make it so that the prices don't drop.

I think it is fine. Just another component to the game for people who do not have the Tele's or runes to do so.

law runes prices will drop a lil, people with low magic need to walk!!

Well i don't like much this update, i prefered the teleports, but law runes wont be mch affected cause these are used for many other spells (tb, teleother…)

now we have even more 1 teleport methid, and this teleports are cessible in any spellbook

I think loadstones are really stupid. Makes runescape alot easier, when its already easy enough…

I preferred the old lumby teleport with a 30 minute cooldown period.

This. The new update doesn't make RS easier.. It just takes less time. How you can think walking between one place and another is hard i have no idea.

Personally, I am not going to complain. now a bot I am working on will not need to use as much walking, but I still need to have the loadstones implemented in srl.

I am assuming the best place to have loadstones is under magic?

i like it :D but I dont like how instead of being teleported in lumby courtyard you are teleported outside the castle -_- too much walking hehe :D

Yeah they are teleports so I guess it will/should be placed under Magic. I've been working on a small script that gathers Pot of Flour from the Port Sarim shop using the lodestone teleport. The lodestone is just 10 steps north of the shop and I can simply bank using a lodestone to edge and then walking to bank. After that simply repeating the loop :P

Lodestones are pretty handy. Unfortunately the prices of tele tabs will be dropping loads.. and I was working on a major script for SRL Member appliance which also had to do with making tabs so I'll probably scratch that idea. Still got the knowledge for walking, etc. though :garfield:

This is another very bad update. We can now go everywhere with any book spell .. And yes, law rune going to low ..

I think this is a great update because you would only have to go around activating the lodestone once and from that point, you can teleport almost anywhere you want. BAD for the people who used to make telestones, but i dont think they will crash because some use them for pking too.

I like the teleporting stones. Not yet activated but seems as a nice transporting methode.

finally when we are on regulars we dont need to walk so much to get to the pyramid for ancients if we dont have the pharaoh staff

While the price may drop, that won't matter for an application. If you have already done a chunk of it, don't scrap it, keep going :)

I can remember when I was unlocking the teleports on the normal spell book years ago, It was a massive achievement would save me hours of walking. But I guess jagex likes to make the game easier and easier.

My epic house portals just became useless :( There goes a couple mil.
