I was curious if people still used armies anymore. I have been looking through a few scripts to refresh on what i have forgot, and there doesn't seem to be many with multiplayer anymore.

The reason i ask is because i want to know if i should bother looking for my list of characters i used as an army.

I personally do, but I don't know that everyone does. I'm sure there are still multiplayer scripts out there, and if they aren't the ones you want, its not terribly hard to add in to the ones you do.

I think its worth it. I have a pretty legit miner army and a separate fishing one.

I have an army of ~10 with 70+ mining and another small squadron of 5 80+fishers.

I rarely use any of them, and most of their skills were gotten through testing scripts :p

Yea, once i learn more this time around i will probably look to add multiplayer to the scripts. Now, i have to go find my paper with my army :p

I have a fairly large army.

20 accounts that mine rune essence, most of them are level 60+ just mining rune essence alone. The exp is not that great but I get a good amount of rune essence, which I then transfer to my rune crafting army that has around 5 accounts, which I use to make air and/or water runes, which I then sell.

10 or so accounts that fish for lobsters in karamaja, good money and great exp

10 woodcutters, just use a simple willow powercutter i made a while back and it powercuts awesomely. Most are level 70ish

10 miners, powermine wherever, in places where ores arent too populated, rimmington is normally good. If not, sometimes south west varrock mine is good. Sometimes if I find a good script that has good banking ill use that and ill make good money. Only a few are level 60 so only like 3 or 3 accounts are able to mine in the guild.

5 or so accounts that I train combat with, only strength, might make some good pures. I did have them killing cows and collecting hides for a short period of time. Did not really bot these accounts that much, I do prefer botting woodcutting, mining, fishing and those types of skills.

25+ accounts that I have created but sitting there doing nothing as of yet. Ready to use, done all the tutorial stuff but just unassigned I guess haha

A lot of people stopped using large armies after the client token (6 hour limit) update came in. This was remedied eventually with CrashSmart, which is still not widely used in scripts.
The people with good computers moved on to running 5-10+ copies of smart at once to bot their army but many just gave up due to the hassel.

Personally I use 3 main botters for most of my scripts (all but one f2p) and another small squad of 5 accounts that have 70+ wc and 70+ mining (all f2p, got them mostly from testing scripts and computer capabilities).

I want to get myself an army, maybe a size of 5-8 accounts, when I get a new build. I can't bot more than 3 on my PC now without suffering immense lag on all of them.

My general impression is that multiplayer can be implemented quite easily. People just don't that nowadays because you usually just fire up another instance of SMART to bot.

The most I was able to do was 6 RSbots, but all with the "Use less CPU" option checked (It just lowers the FPS). I was never able to match that with Simba and SMART, as just running 2 or 3 of those would reach 100 percent CPU. With 6 RSbots all on "Use less CPU" I would be at 90-100 so it would work out okay.

I used to run about 10-20 rsbots and 5 smart but now i cant run more than 2 bots then it says you are already logged in

i now have 5 rune essence
i have 2 accs running swordfish 90+ fishing f2p ( i still use those)
2 wc accs both 80+
and i used to run about 10 dung bots :o

when u say multiplayer, do u mean switching to next account after a period of time, or run all of them the same time?

Used to have 10 miners, now I can't find the piece of paper with the info on them. :(

No. I only use my armies to level up 1 skill only, I have a separate army for combat.

I must be a unique botter. I only got one account and I only bot on it which is my main.

I never thought about doing multi botting.

You don't even level to fool at all just level 3s? Im assuming you use them to farm right?

As stated in my previous comment, no I do not. If one account is set to become a woodcutter, that is all they will do. They are not combat accounts, I have a separate army for that.

nah im only botting my main. i have this acount since 07 i dont want to goldfarm.
