Hello and I would like to appreciate myself for making a title that caught your attention , that's why you are now reading this. My question is really important because I'm planning to make a new account. But I want this account to stake only on f2p (boxing only) because I prefare getting p2p for my main. The thing I need is: what stats should a staked have to be a real boss in f2p stake? As you may know, prayer, food, potions, movement will be removed in my fights. Which I know pray will be 1.

I'm kind of interested in making a staker as well, but not sure if i will go f2p or members. Curious what people suggest for making one.

The best 99 that I have heard of to get for staking is defense… then str/con (debatable which) then att. I have not tested it myself but this is what I read and have been told.

Honestly, f2p staking isn't really worth it due to the small staking community and the limits on staking amounts.

Why low strength and what order would you do that in?

perfect staker (boxer) is max combat (99 attack, strength, defence and constitution). No other combat raising stats like summoning, magic, ranged and prayer. I don't really know any other kind of stakers, but this one is pretty powerfull.

F2P staking is a little silly. The limit makes it a waste of time.

you can get magic and ranging too, just no prayer or summoning

Well thanks for all those tips, but remember: you can always upgrade the status to members. That way, it's not a waste of time.

that way you do come across people who dont think your max melee and then you have slight advantage.

vs another max melee its just luck/statplay in the end

seems like if you get the right combination of skills in free to play, you could have an advantage. since there is not much of a point to stake in ftp with the limits, the majority of the good stakers are in p2p worlds, leaving noobs in ftp worlds. noobs = easily beat :spot:

ive staked a few times in ftp, one the majority of time since they had such bad stats compared to mine.


i would recommend merchanting or something else as it would most likely make more/hour than ftp staking however.

f2p staking/pking is totally pointless. 40k/win? or waste few inventories of lobster and get a full rune drop lol.

for p2p theres not really any need to create a new acct, just use ur maxed main. Nowadays ppl will know u have maxed melee even if u r lvl 11x, or they can just check u out at hiscore (if they betting hugh amt they def will, or just assume u have maxed).
99% of serious staking nowadays will just be maxed ppl boxing with att style switching, so its pretty much dependent on pure luck, which means in the long run there is zero net profit, hence its just a total time waster.

The best money making would just be botting/PVM/p2p pking (if u r really good and experienced)

I see what you mean by not making much money. I might be interested in learning to pk in p2p.
