So I was thinking…and you know how sometimes you are going out but you cant leave your bot running because youll be out for a long time? What if there was an include that would by sending a notification someplace and when that notification got there, the script would terminate….It would work sort of like how we pull GE prices..Instead it would pull Termination notifications… I know this could be done just by MarkTime and then terminate after 18000000ms (5 hours)…but it would be kind of neat…I might examine the GE price code and see if I could cook :stirthepot: something up for this :D

I do this with .ini file reading/writing. I have an external manager program that checks if I want to start or restart a script based on an .ini file. However, I don't use it for long-scale remote management. It would, though, probably be pretty easy using email.

Check out RC.simba. It should be in core or misc. With that you should be able to control your account with runescape private messages if I remember correctly. So you could make it terminate when a certain message is received from a certain player.

Ive actually thought about adding remote to SMART manager, which would allow you to start stop any script, view running times etc..

Quite simple, and could make it web based, so you can access it from your smart phone/laptop or whatever.
