I am planning on getting my maul back, a cr, and Ccb.

What's better a chaotic staff or armadyl staff?

And what other chaotics are worth my time getting?
I am currently pushing for 1200k tokens.

All chaotics are worth it.

Armadyl battlestaff is only good if you're intending to use Storm of Armadyl.

Rapier > Crossbow > Longsword > Staff > Maul (subjective).

Ely is better than chaotic shield due to its effect.

I think it depends mostly on where you'd be using your Chaotic items.

How about if you go to a staking world and stake for dds/ whip, and once you get a fight. End up bringing out a chaotic weapon. Which would be better: chaotic rapier or long? Or would it be fine with a gravure one?

There is a cc called sell dung that allows you to pay to be semi afk carried through dungeons. It is quite efficient and costs around 130m per chaotic.

Rapier is better than maul for Slayer and PvM but not for PvP althought it's decent at it.

Maul is good for Slayer and PvM, but is slightly better for PvP than rapier, especially if you know how to use the gmaul combo efficiently.

Chaotic Longsword is OK for bossing and is pretty shitty for everything else compared to Rapier/Maul.

Crossbow is decent but probably not worth it because it only gives 33% more accuracy than rune crossbow for 2m dung xp.

Chaotic Staff probably isn't worth it unless you do a ton of Glacors/Ganodermic Beasts/Hybridding PvP

Chaotic Shields are honestly pretty shitty compared to Spirit Shields and DFS, but Farseer can be OK for it's huge damage soaking abilities especially if you don't want to spend money on an Arcane.

Imo, CCB is well worth 200k tokens for the 33% increase in accuracy. Helps a lot if you do Arma/Frosts/Metal Dragons.

When I looked into a chaotic weapon, I looked at which ones are best for PvM. My favorite monsters to kill are Frost dragons. Frost's like all other dragons are weak to stab, so I Purchased the Rapier. Let me tell you, the rapier tears them apart. Also, the Crossbow is good, especially paired up with full void.

If you don't plan on getting a ccb then you should rule out ever doing Nex.

Chaotic rapier is generally the most effective, followed by a chaotic crossbow. The staff doesn't have much use, especially compared to the Staff of Armadyl. The shields are good, but aren't that much better than a dfs in my opinion, at least not enough to warrant spending my tokens on them. The maul can shine through on occasion, such as at waterfiends.

not at maxed PVP the CLS is easily the best melee weapon followed by the CCB

the CS is totaly useless now, Poly+Armadyl spells are better and you can still barrage extremely effectively with those staffs

CCB is probbaly the most versatile chaotic weapon, you can use it for high level pvp, bossing or even slayer it is without doubt the BEST VALUE

Rapier, not much to be said its a low level PVP weapon and PVM weapon, with less bossing potential then all other chaotics except CS

the CLS the most powerful chaotic ( DPS ) is THE best for high level PVP, non-ranged bosses, CR or CCB are slightly better in slayer or low level bosses A.K.A mole

the CM perhaps the most over rated weapon of them all this weapon only has 2 uses Waterfiends or PKing, it has a high Hit Potential but has the lowest DPS due to its slowness, the maul excels in low level (under 110) pvp and only the brawling gloves are better for waterfiends


ive had all chaotics on 2 accounts now if i had to choose them again in this order

for bossing CCB
for bossing/PVP CLS
for PVE CR
for Waterfiends CM
and i would not purchase the staff again and only the maul if i was leveling dung and has spare tokens

the Arcane Steam is a must buy along with wasteless herblore

Chaotic Rapier is the best choice for some slayer tasks, as it is has a very high pierce damage. It also wrecks pures that have 1-45 defence, it has extremely good accuracy as well.
Chaotic Crossbow is probably the 2nd best chaotic. Gives a higher range bonus, hits hard, hits accurate, good for slayer/bossing/pvp.
The staff is good, but you are better off just using a armadyl staff/polypore, and sometimes a SoL. IMO, not worth it unless you have a large amount of unspent tokens (I.E. 110+ DG)
Chaotic longsword and maul, are both my favorites against pures/mains that have a high defense bonus. The maul hits straight through plate and d'hide, making it quite useful, while the CLS has a higher hit then the rapier, a better 1-handed switch/KO weapon.

Get the CLS, honestly you will most likely be doing bandos anyways, which is wrecked by CLS. It also has good stab for anything you may need that for, while being viable for pvp as a one handed wep. That's what I'm doing for my first :)

im a max tank, i only have a ccb i use it only for bossing, pking because its FRICKING AWSUM
