This really annoys me, If I post rep to anyone good or bad I post my name, but some members on here feel as if they can post comments on the rep section even if it is only for fun and games , they should at least post who they are, some people dislike remarks, and dislike responses they get so they derep, well that's pathetic, go on flame and derep me on this thread but I have ha people of note give me positive rep , who ever it was an whoever continues to do this, you are nothing more than a parasite.

Feel free to comment as you will, just me venting some

There is no need to give a name. Whenever you spread your opinion you will get followers and haters. Why does it bother you so much if you did receive pos rep? They didn't leave their name because they don't want to have to deal with you, and if they are nice they will leave you a note explaining why. If you really think it is that bad of a problem go pm a mod.

I'm also no fan of anonymous derepping. But in my opinion there is no need for derepping at all. Just give us the ability to give and receive positive would be a better system IMO.

Agreed, I believe if you hand out rep , make it a worthwhile comment and state your name, after the posting of this thread I copped a lot of bad rep my friend Kyle gave some rep which balanced all the non sense out.

The one about a silly name , that was one of the derep comments that made me laugh though

Well I can tell you for sure that complaining about reputation isn't a good way to boost it.

i dont quite understand what u mean by "cowards". You mean..ppl are actually "scared" to let u find out that they derepped you?
Rep doesnt affect you in anyway, if u always make useful posts ppl will know it, so just ignore the minority who gives rep/derep for no reason?

I have always said that I don't either like anonymous rep/dereps.
People will say worse things when they know their name is hidden, so yes in a way they are scared to let you know that who they were.

There was a case when I derepped someone(I do it rarely I believe) with my name of course, I always include my name, and he pm'd me to elaborate why I have done it.
It was a nice conversation from further on and we managed to solve the "problem" I was seeing.

If I feel really bad about someone that I would love to derep anonymously because the words would be not kind then I just don't derep.
Showing your nice face to someone then when he/she turns "stabbing in the back" is not my style. I just don't "back stab" then …

As I have stated many people share the same opinion as me.

Rep should remain cumpolsory to supply your name with valid reasoning.
Fun the system of rep might of been set up as, and for the most part it used as intended, from my standpoint and from what I can see, but with the parasites that actually infect this community is appalling

Umm I have never derepped sex, I actually speak to sex on the odd occasion so your information is horrendously wrong demise

I hate the anonymous dereping system, I have been derep'ed about 5 times and the only person who had a legitimate reason and gave their name was Pat. They should just make it so it tells you who derep'ed you.
