Going to buy my sister an EReader for her birthday.
Can you all (from personal experience) tell me which EReaders you have and enjoy (or which to stay away from?). (Latest models/generations only please).
Also any GOOD links to comparisons, details, specs, prices, etc etc are greatly appreciated! Preferable comparing about the latest models/generations.

I have this kindle
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Kindle-Wireless-Reading-Display-Generation/dp/B002LVUWFE/ref=sa_menu_kdp32I love it, does absolutely everything I would want an eReader to do. Reads all main book formats.
I use this software to manage it easily
http://calibre-ebook.com/ which also has the ability to convert files from one format to another meaning I can torrent almost every imaginable book saving me lots of money :)

i quite agree. Tbh, there isnt much difference from the new nook and the new kindle though. The main thing i like about the kindle is that you can buy cases that actually look good. I have a case that has a pull out light thing that takes its power from the kindle itself. Whereas the nook's cases are all pretty shitty.

Kindle by far, I still have the original and it works more than fine. The newer versions have some nicer features and the draw speeds for the pages appears to be faster, or atleast more smooth.

Kindle keyboard it's really good you can read for hours without getting tired as in pc, it has e ink display (is lie reading a normal book). You can read in bright sun, really light, more than many books….
I personally love Kindle best price - quality relation :P

I've only ever used a Kindle; I bought the Kindle DX back in November/December when it was on sale (like $100 off) and have used it quite a bit since. I wanted the DX for reading bigger .pdf files, but so far I've really only used it for novels. But it's amazing nonetheless.

I personally like kindles but wouldn't it be great if you went to best buy and ask them for the best/ cheapest, considering the one best fits your needs.

I have the 3G model of the Kindle and it works great, my mum has the new non-3g version without the keyboard and it seems to be a bit faster than mine but obviously typing is a pain. Having 3G all over the world for free is a great bonus if you travel like me..
If you have any sense in you, STAY AWAY from the KoBo Reader.
Been through 3 of them (ragereading)

Kindle. Bought my dad the last generation one, and he loves it. I really don't see any competition with that e-ink screen, it's really really good.
I use the Ipad, but I've read on a Kindle, and it's much better.
Get the newest Kindle.
