Since the last update today when smart opens up i see the bots lil red dot but the screen is black after logging in before logging into the world am i the only one ?

Doesn't disappear.. I was trying for half an hr.. now I saw this thread I'm glad I didn't make a new one..

The lag is unbearable now.. There is a 7 second delay now before the login screen shows up.. I am not lagging personally because my CPU Usage with Smart is 10-15%.. So I know it's not me.. and it's not my net cuz it works fine all the time. Only after this update -__-

Not only me.. ppl at GE are saying "Jagex lady gaga'd runescape.. I lag so bad!! They placed horns all over my armour and it lags me!!" Guess that's what they meant:

it works half the time, once it worked in 10 seconds and the next time i was waiting for 5 minutes and nothing happened

Moving the mouse seems to make it go away and, as you said, the timing is erratic.

Happening here too, it just spam clicks during the black screen. I hope this isn't intentional and permanent.

I get it when I log in with SMART Enabled, but for some reason I don't get it when I log in manually… Weird.

Yea same here Texy its weird probably was like a anti bot move

i just disabled the SMART then re enable it

my quick fix:
1. go to login.simba
2. go to line 797
3. add BEFORE "Result := (LobbyScreen) or (LoggedIn);":

    if(findcolortolerance(x,y,0,50,50,51,51,5))then
    begin
      wait(2500+random(1000));
      mmouse(20,20,200,300);
      wait(50+random(100));
      mmouse(210,120,400,400);
    end; 

4. add local variables x,y:integer;

Problem gone for me.. had to reinstall java and graphics driver.. now the only thing happens is a login delay.. other than that, everything else is fine

Ghraphics driver how would i even reinstall that lol

Fix for me is to minimize the smart screen and then unminimize when it has entered the lobby. And if its running slow i usually just restart simba and it speeds up. Temporary fix's hopefully.

i get this too, hoping it isn't permanent..

JaGex need to stop adding these silly little aesthetic changes…

Anyway, a little ghetto fix would be to go to line 722 in login.simba and just below the repeat add these two lines.

MMouse(MSCX, MSCY, -25, 25);
Wait(1000); 

should alleviate any issues with LoginPlayer fudging up for now.

when i posted this, it was right before my 3 hr class. when i came back, srl was like 4 revisions newer. so im guessing something within this file changed in the new revisions, so my suggestion probably wont work.

Thanks, that seems to be working nicely. I wonder if this black screen really was intentional/what were they trying to accomplish with it..

random :) great how everyone is adjusting to it, mine will go pitch black after a few hours of botting tho, really anoying:(

I actually dont think so because it just happened when i used the web browser i think it was a accident on there part

I get it too, Doesn't go away until I disable then re-enable smart. My problem is that when it's black, it starts spamming on the recovery link and opens a lot of pages to enter recoveries :/

Exactly the same problem as me, I started a script and came back and had about 20 google chromes open :p

The black screen appears when my screen goes to my lock screen. :(

Need it to work for crashsmart.

it has happened to me having to wait like 5 minutes to be able to log in, because black sreen wouldnt disapear no matter what

this black screen is a big headache if you're trying to use crashsmart.
dunno if fagex did it on purpose to put us off or not..

I just wanted to say I got this problem while switching world.

I will take a look into this. Because it's not fixed what I'v tested.
