hi just a heads up if you bot for along time and you are way from ur pc please have your accept aid option set too on. ive noticed many people today in sw lobby getting reported because of banking failure, i couldnt help any of them because of their aid being off. if your aid is on all someone like me does is use a teleother spell and that should kill ur script and logg you off. its hard to look out for each other if your accept aid is off.

It is hard to understand what you're saying. However, I've always had the mentality. If you know someone is botting report them.

If we don't fit in with legits then we are ruining the game.

Ok, what I think he's trying to say is to keep Accept Aid turned off, or else people cast Teleother on you, which will break some scripts with the popup that opens.

sorry kind of hard to write in one language translate it and do that on an iphone. what i am saying keep your aid on, because if ur script decides to die then someone can caste teleother on you and crash your script, so you can log out. hope you get that.

That doesn't make sense…if your script dies it should log you out (if it's a good script) why would you want someone to tele you?

I think you've just got it mixed up…I'm not too familiar with tele other or anything but wouldn't your aid ON allow this to happen?

In other words if your aid is OFF, how can anyone interrupt you causing your script to fail?

I'll break down what you're saying and try to understand it.

• keep "accept aid" on
• script decides to die
• teleother is casted on you
• script that already died crashes?
• a script that died AND crashed logs you out

You should have been content with my "no" earlier…
First, I don't want to keep accept aid on because that means anyone that wants to can make a big ugly interface pop-up on me anytime they want.
if my script decides to die, then I'm screwed. I could stop there, but i'll go on.
When teleother is casted an ugly interface pops-up, it doesn't make me log out…?

Accept aid shouldn't be on while botting.

If I see people Nottingham obviously, I report them. Hypocritical, maybe, but its survival of the fittest. The only people who get banned are the ones who abuse bots. Not smart and you'll be fine, NY main has been going strong for several years mostly botted.

No. What the guy is trying to say is that he saw a bunch of failed bots probably randomly clicking so they look really botlike and people were reporting them. If they had accept aid on he could have cast teleother on them and it would have made their script log them out so they wouldn't get more reports.

I say let them get banned. If they are stupid enough not to baby-sit enough to realize that the script sucks, they should get banned. I also report people that are botting while im also botting! ;) You better respond to me and you better have a very good breaking/antiban.

i don't know of any scripts on villavu that log out upon the teleother interface.

those ppl have nothing to worry about because when you report someone jagex watches their acc if they dont bot then they are fine.

Exactly, My public chat is always turned to friend. Sometime, I turn it on, just to see what people say, but I don't really care since most of the time, they ask stupid question that can be answered so easily like, go look my highscore if you want to know it…

superbuster is not hard to understand. Holy crap, I don't want to offend anyone, but seriously. Jokester has explained why this teleother method would/could/does work.
I've never really given any thought to this, and I don't know if it would actually be a bad idea. Anyone know?

If your script doesn't have fail safes and is messing up, it will still try to click around even if an interface is up. Depending on what the script is for and the methods it uses, it probably would still click around, thus you would not log off. So it is not guaranteed by any means to work, and now you are vulnerable to anyone coming up and messing up your script at any time.

Key to this story, make sure the scripts you are using have good fail safes.

If you have good fail safes, then that teleport interface pops up blocking the screen, your script should log you out, because it can't find whatever object it's supposed to interact with on the main screen. It does depend on what activity you're doing, but anytime the main screen is blocked, it will probably mess up your script. Does that make sense?

Okay, so if you're sitting at SoulWars bank, how likely are you going to be messing with the mainscreen? Will teleother prevent you from banking?
Withdraw, use items in inventory, use text screen (below mainscreen), click bank chest. Repeat.

Will teleother block the view of the bank chest? Will it prevent you? Do you know of a case that it would? I think some scripts sometimes walk away from the bank chest. If you can tell me of a case that some blocking of the mainscreen will stop your script, that'd be great. I'm not going out of my way to find out, just curious. So.. a specific example would be great. (I think it could block the bank chest, and if so is good enough reason not do what superbuster suggests.) Failsafes are needed.

Of course yOu report Botters. If you can tell they're a bot, then they shouldn't be there. The whole idea is to blend in…

Besides, when people complain they got banned of using a certain script, it motivates the creator to make the script better which makes the community and bottling a better place.
