Alright can someone close this thread? I know what i'm going to do now.

Something using radial walk would be good like firemaking, also members isn't easy to get

What were the 3 others you didn't release? Your members applications will only be viewed by members+, so it should be alright to put it there. Still, as heads up, I think people would like to see more community participation before letting you in, just judging from your postcount.

Im not underestimating the skill it takes to become a member but I think I can do it even if it takes me 2 or 3 times.

Yeah I applied with two scripts and like no activity and looking back I feel dumb

Yeah I've been active the past month or so but haven't been around long. The first I made was a hunter kit opener, the second was an essence miner, and the third I don't want to post what it was for. And im currently working on a flipping script that I MIGHT release but it doesn't fulfill the members requirement.

a monkey theiver, nice 200k xp per hour you need to scape from jail, pretty complex so i think that could give you member status.

Just because its complex doesn't mean it will fulfill the reqs (I think) there are a set of things that need to be in the script to be voted as member. I can do all of those things (I think) but i don't have a script idea that would prove it.

Thieving is members only btw…

To be frankly honest with you, you don't need a script idea to get 'members'. You need to know how to script, with correct standards, be nice around the community, help people. You'll find that there's more personality and other attributes which we look at other than just the script you apply with.

I did apply and really, it is all about community first and scripter skill after. Yes, they do have some things they like, but they just want to see if you know how to use things, so having simple function like Findobj all over your script won't work! They want to see TPA, DTM and things like that. A well organized Script is a +.

I am always on here 24/7 with my phone. My smartphone needs charging every 2-3 hours because i am here so often lol. I am very helpful around here and active but i would also like to release a script with the reqs to earn my spot here and to prove i know what i'm doing.

The purpose of the script does not need to be difficult, the code for the script needs to show an understanding.

I got in with a miner(mining guild miner) that used purely color(back when reflection was taking over). I just used TPA's and custom functions and tryed to show I knew what I was doing. Just try your hardest. If you try, it's only a matter of time until you know enough to get in.

The monkey knife fighters have ridiculously high reqs :( I also wanted to work on it but my main is far from the reqs

I need ideas as to what kind of script would fulfill most/all of those reqs. I know I can do them but I don't have a script idea that will utilize all of those reqs.

youre allowed to post multiple scripts. so show what you have already, and just make a basic script with whatever else you havent used in your current scripts.
you can use the more advanced things to do basic tasks if you want, itll show that you know how to use them.

I really just want to make a brand new one from scratch because 2/3 don't have much standards at all and I don't feel like running through and fixing them. The other one is better but not too good. I just want to start another from scratch mainly because im bored and going for members would be my next step here.

PS: if you're making a script with the intention of getting members with it, just don't. Your main focus should be to make a script you want to use in RS, making sure it works stable and well, and THEN concern yourself if it's acceptable. Coding something for the goal of members is wrong and you will be wasting your time.

I guess i'm not really being clear. I want the script idea because i want to be able to make something i can use. If i didn't care i would just make mine one drop one or something that fills the reqs. I'll edit the op i guess.

i wouldnt suggest a revenant killer. it was more of a joke idea. it would take forever for you to code all the drops as they are rare.

Something that is actually useful would be a fighter and banker somewhere in f2p. not sure where though

Great feedback over here, I am also working on my way towards members But I have to study 1st :)

As some users said you only need to know scripting and prove that with a script. That's all you have to do. Being active and helping others would be a big advantage.
