What is your favorite memory from runescape? This can be about anything that has to do with runescape or botting or making a script for runescape.

My favorite thing about the old runescape was that it took time to do something. You had to find someone to buy/sell your stuff from/to. And you couldn't really "buy" a 99. You had to actually gather stuff yourself (mostly).

A day after the gravestones update, me and a couple of friends (We were all level 50's) went up to level 50 greater demons. One of my friends, who was wearing full saradomin died. I jizzed my pants when I thought I was gonna get a saradomin set, but then I saw the gravestone :/

Not my favorite, one of my most memorable.

Yeah the gravestone update screwed me out of a few insane drops… :( But it also saved more stuff than I could ever afford to replace!

My favourite things was back in days, when I was a noob. The old edgeville (Runescape 2006)

Edgeville was the place to be back then! Right next to the wldy so I could just watch as people got lured and owned! Or a f2p range clan of 30 people piled 1 person! XD Man were those good times!

My first botted 99 was mage! I stopped it like 5 casts before 99 and I did the last ones myself ;)

Hmm… For me it was the first day of the transition of RSC > RS2. The difference in graphics was phenomenal for us RSC'ers.

For me, it was when Zezima appeared out of no where, and the simplicity of the game back then.

My favourite memories are racing my friend to 99 fletching, day in day out trading Yew longs for sups + cash with alchers just outside Seers bank. He beat me in the end, but I've slaughtered him since :3

For me, it was when Zezima appeared out of no where, and the simplicity of the game back then.

It was great back then… goals back then were: get 99 mage in the next 6 months. Now they are: alright I want 99 mage in a week.

Zezima is and always will be the greatest player of all time!

The problem with runescape is that there really isn't any value in doing the little things anymore.

No one really plays minigames anymore it saddens me… its all about "99 as fast as I can ZOMG!!"

I'm sorry but I just had to jump in on this thread, as my first memory is still very clear in my head to me!

My memory comes back from RSClassic when my and my friends have just started playing the game and were very addicted. If you played RS Classic then you would know that gold was very hard to come upon, especially if you were a low level. One night all of my friends got off and I was in alkarid mining iron, I remember walking to the bank and I saw a stack of gold on the ground so I decided to pick it up, to my delight it was 10k! I know today that 10k is a joke, but back then it was so much to me. To put this in perspective I could have bought any of the party hats (sure wish I would have..). I ended up spending the gold on some armor and I forget what I did with the rest. We were all such noobs back then, but that is a memory that I always remember about Runescape.

I have many very good memories, I just don't want to waste everyones time telling them all! As boring the game as been to me lately, it has certainly had its ups.

Oh no problem this thread is here for a reason! I loved playing classic back then! I still do now on the jagex server and I built my own private server and added runecrafting as a skill! XD The only problem with the Jagex server is that no one plays unless its the 2 weeks before and the 2 weeks after they open it back up for new members. Im a veteran ;)

my most memorable is just playing and killing my first cow thinking how dumb this game is and look now where it got me….

2006 when i went with my clan to lvl 40 to fight against another clan. I got like 8-10m woth of items but finally when returning to varrock i got killed hehe.

Once i had a full rune, it took me two weeks of selling lobbies to buy it. i was a noob lvel 60 and i was going to quit so i went to wildy. i started attaking one guy with low hp the a miniclan attakked me. They were 6 people agaisnt me! that day o lost 5 full runes: 1 mine and four of the people i killed. it was the best way to quit.

Then after six months I returned. this was in 2006. Such a good time the old wildy was the best!

My favourite moment was when in the General store, I saw full iron.. I was like w000000000000000000000000000000000000000t sweet baby jesus! I bought 2 sets platebody and platelegs… but the helm costed more gp… I did a drama run to the bank (Varrock East Bank) then came back.. It was so dramatic.. I rightclicked the Shopkeeper and hoped from the bottomest of the bottom of my heart that it was still there.. AND BOOYAKA IT WAS !!!! :D

Back when being level 126 was an accomplishment…

Me and Zezima were bros! Lol jk but yeah I've had my fair share of Zezima sightings ;) one time was in edgeville bank. Bank when Zezima still played it was pretty common to see him actually (before he got all 99's lol)

My favorite memory was when the sections of the varrock bank were a marketplace of items. black g here, wiz g there… you could get some deals- then Jagex added the grand exchange and a trade limit
and here i am with a jar of tears *salty*

My best memory is going back a long time ago where people were selling Party hat for less than 100k and I was wondering why people were buying these ridiculous items… Now, They are rich while I have nothing compare to them :-( because I never thought about buying one.

either my first hilt drop or first 99. It was around 12am when i had about 200k cooking experience left my sophomore year of high school…. lets just say i was "sick" the next day.

My favorite memory was the day I got members in like 2002… I felt like such a hard ass… I saw two kids running around in Varrock square for the first time… I got myself a gnome ball.. Went and saw the witch… It was bad ass!

My best memory would be Tutorial island, didn't know what it was thought it was actually the game.. was there for 4 days! Eventually got off and I was confused, found myself in Al-Kharid. While there I had no idea about money, had 25gp in my inventory and some guy traded me 50k, i begged him for money and he ran off :(.

I'm not such a old school player like you guys, maybe around 2008 is when I started to play rs on and off since it was pretty straight forward back then, I really enjoyed playing castle wars though, it was awesome, nowadays I don't see a whole bunch of people playing it anymore, seems like they switched over to soul wars for more xp per hour :[

Its all about the xp and the gold… Not many people like playing the way it was in 06… so simple! Make some friends, do some quests and maybe pick ip some xp and gold along the way.

Runescape Christmas event 2005.. Just seeing that in the morning in the day of its release was amazing! And I was 9 at the time :'D

The old fashioned pk'ing way, we used to camp at greaters deep in the Wildy on F2P and make trips back and forth to rune rocks, and just annihilate players :) it was funny, watching one player run up to attack cos they saw you in zam and a santa thinking i am going to kill you, than all of a sudden 20-30 people emerge from one dot :P

Haha! Like I've never heard of that before! I used to love doing that! And I hated when it happened to me! -_-

Oh god where do i start. Well i use to merch Certs, and if you don't know what those are your nto a hardcore Rs player. Mage pking in Full armour aka mage/def pures. that awkward moment when i didn't switch my stuff over to rs2 but they did it for me and i got pissed. When i did those 3 months of iron dropping to get 85 minning. :0 Oh and when i didn't bother to buy a santa hat's for 100k each b/c i thought they would drop while i took a 5 month break, never made enough money to buy 1 again…. When merching ment standing outside and saying your buying all of something for a certain amount and then selling in manually for bulk and for more.

Hehe, I got another good Memory from my old time. The first time I got my fire Cape. It was something amazing, since it took 4 try to get it and I was so happy! and I still remember it, but I lost it while I was botting, got killed by a Ogre random while fishing…

If you don't know what I am speaking about, that's because you aren't a old member of runescape :P

ahhh zezima =] you guys probably wont believe me but wth =d I keyed a few dungeoneering floors for zezima last summer when he was getting 120 dg, if i recall correctly i think he was between 100 and 105 dg the nublet, since i found him in world 148=]

favourite moment in rs is when i got my first whip, they were at 1.5m or 1.7 i cant remember, but i was always stuck at 1.2m wealth =/ and when i finally did get it =D i didn't even have the attack level to use it lol

Anyone remember the great partyhat dupe? That was an insanely great day! So many partyhats it wasn't even funny! The purple ones were absolutely worthless! And now they are over 1b! So not fair…

Having massive clan war's with my old acc with 96 mage and 99 ranged it was the bomb back in the day

I hate to say it but I used to love the old trade, scamming people all day long :')
I know it's selfish but you guys got to admit you all tried it a few times

i actually preferred the modified wilderness. You could block revenant teleblocks, but you cant block player teleblocks. I was never into PKing >.>

Doing the first few Holiday Events. :D

Back when it was the early part of RS 1 (we called it RS) when we were playing on our lunch break (Freshmen in High School), and talking about cooking and needing pot(s) and burning our meat… Also seeing my exact twin walking from falador to the dwarven mine. we both stopped at took screen shots of each other (which I have long since lost :( ). Ah back when I played the game to play the game, when it still was "Fun" to play. Now botting is more fun…

Old school RSC was sweet… Magic and def pures were so fun… A lot has changed but I guess not for the bad I still PK every few days :)

Standing in Varrock square trying to figure out how this game works.

I see a player saying over and over "Black Arm Gang. Anyone? Black Arm Gang" and I remember thinking "how lame trying to start a gang in a game!". I was so green. Would have been 2002ish.

Back when I was a noob I won a Saradomin Full Helm in a drop party

Best day of my life - they were worth only like 500k back then :p

Pked my first rune 2h when they were worth over 1 mil. Back then that was a SHIT ton of money.

They were worth more than P hats :)

I did the exact same thing!! I even picked bananas and put them in the crate for 30 gp a crate! Lmao

I think the memory that makes me smile is me killing goblins on the other side of lumbridge bridge. Picking up almost everything they dropped, burrying the bones, feeling proud of the bronze armor I bought.

And above all, not understanding why all those higher levels that passed by kept calling me a noob :D

Played it, Content because I was little.

Rememberable things:
1. Having a 3 letter name. "BWT"
2. Getting my first phat, being to young to understand it's rarity and giving it away for rune full helmet
3. losing account :'( was stupid to fall for look what happens when you say pw glitch *******
4. Got acc back! :D got to level 90
5. was on all halloween for sythe… never got it… didn't understand the event :(
6. QUIT
7. 2008 - Rejoin, Friends all like hey come join.
8. 2009 - QUIT
9. 2010 - Try to login. BWT is banned for macroing. Didn't know how to bot. WTF Jagex
10. 2011 - BOT about 12 accounts at a time.

My favorite memory would have to be just after losing 7 dice games in a row. (All Worth 5m.) I raged, and grabbed the rest of the money from my bank, and diced it. Won 120m that day.
It was glorious.

The first time I saw a Jagex Mod, was surprised to see the commotion.
