Using Bitmaps less detectably?

Using a small knife bitmap for my fletcher, I encountered that it ALWAYS goes to the same place on the knife using FindBitmapSpiralToleranceIn.

Is there a better procedure/function that will find the bitmap less detectably? Using a random mouse movement is always an option, but there is always the possibility it may miss.

Please help me out, thanks! :)

I'm cooking up a mighty fine fletcher… :stirthepot: (HAD TO USE THAT :))

You should do Mouse(x, y, 6, 6, True) <—- 4, 4 is random click!
I prefer bitmaps to DTM's.

6, 6?

and if you are afraid of mis clicking with randomness you could get the column and row in the inventory that the item is in with coordinates, and click somewhere within that invenotry space.

My bad, I first put in 4,4 as random, then changed it to 6,6.. but forgot to edit comment.

Just get a bitmap from the center then click with a randomness of about 6. It really shouldn't miss…

this is how i do it:

if FindColorSpiralTolerance(x,y, ...)then
Begin
x:= x+random(15)
y:= y-random(20)
MMouse(x,y,3,3)

Actually you should do
if FindColorSpiralTolerance(x, y, …) then
begin
Mouse(x,y,6,6,True);
end;
Reason: Mouse already has the random movement for few pixels away it will be random of 6 in this case. it goes like Mouse(x,y, randx, randy: int,left:boolean);

yes but it will still look UNHUMAN to always press just in the left upper corner, BUT
With mine, u will press in the middle of lets say item in inventory and then a random of 6,6. right.. thats what i think is better..

ALSO with urs u could even miss the item!

Just use UseItem with CoordsToInvSpot, and use DTM/Bitmap/Colors to get the coords

function CoordsToInvSpot(gx,gy:integer):integer;
var col,row:integer;
begin
if ((gx>569) and(gx<600)) then col:=1;
if ((gx>611) and(gx<642)) then col:=2;
if ((gx>653) and(gx<684)) then col:=3;
if ((gx>695) and(gx<723)) then col:=4;

if ((gy>213) and(gy<244)) then row:=1;
if ((gy>249) and(gy<280)) then row:=2;
if ((gy>285) and(gy<316)) then row:=3;
if ((gy>322) and(gy<352)) then row:=4;
if ((gy>357) and(gy<387)) then row:=5;
if ((gy>393) and(gy<424)) then row:=6;
if ((gy>429) and(gy<459)) then row:=7;

result:=((row-1)*4)+col;
end;
