I doubt the humanity would end any time soon or for hundreds or millions of years. The end of the world was guessed to be a while ago on several occasions, but look at us now we are still alive.

Well theoretically we could be around for a hundred million more years, though it will be interesting to see what evolution would do to us… we have ~ 5 billion years before the earth will be destroyed by the sun
