Now that most bots are out of the way

What Do you guys think jagex is after next. They shutdown most of the bots and I doubt the bots will be up anytime soon (previously a java client developer). So what do you think Jagex will change or mess with next?
Heres a little something I experienced from jagex. I baught GP at this website (which later I found out jagex was running) a couple years ago :duh::duh: and ban people for buying gold?
Do you think they'll make fake sites or go after the companies that sell these gold?
Will they mess with color bots?
Will they start making stupid updates to the game?
Or just be lazy Morons and do nothing.

Their war with bots isn't over yet. They still didn't finish off reflection, they just wounded it.

I thought you should know that you're cussing.
Edit:
The Jagex selling gold issue always intrigued me for several reasons. (Anyone know anything about it…?)
Compare back when reflection bots were around, the number of CHARACTERS on during certain times of the day/week, to now. I still believe Jagex has to carefully balance the longevity of the game. I think this is why they don't kill bots all the time (or their profit). I believe they use bots to keep this system in balance:
Not enough players -> less players
too many players -> not as many players
membership = money
f2p (ads) = I don't know

I believe finishing off java bots would be next on their agenda. After that maybe taking some more swings at gold-farmers and then back to focusing their efforts on updates to bring back those customers.

I believe they will continue doing in-game updates, go after gold farmers (so they can make more money from selling runescape gold), then I think they will wait for an opportune time to kill off those injection/reflection bots.
..Or maybe they will mostly continue trying to make money via ads, membership and promoting their game. (But I doubt that's all)

but flight, its nearly impossible to finish off the bots, they cant spend a lifetime getting rid of them. there will always be bots unless they get rid of the the low detail options but even then people will make bots.

By Java bots I was meaning anything the reads the client itself.

Even in that case, its not possible. Do you honestly thing there is anything that Jagex can do to rid of THIS community other than a lawsuit. No there really isn't. Maybe they can find a way to kill the SMART system but we still have browser targets. Something tells me they're going to give up after java. They wont go after color. They can only go after the injection bots.

:/ Are you really paying attention to what I'm writing here? I never mentioned SRL, we obviously have no association with java bots nor do we modify the client, therefore I was obviously not referring to us…

:duh: I understand -.- and what I'm saying is that even if they do fully get java bots out the way, they cant stop botting fully. (which is what your also saying) So whats next after they're done is my point =D

Jagex hate people who profit off their game, which is why they are now removing gold from accounts if traded in large amounts.

A few people here have reported that Jagex wiped money from their bank accounts after trading it from one account to another.
How do I trade gold now? I don't, because I never did in the first place.
I dont think they are gonna go after color bots. Maybe injection but not color. Simply because there are a very few people who goldfarm with color. Everyone else just builds their own accounts and use the money gained for more skilling or equipment.

SXxR what did the "gold farmers" do after the bot nuke? Where did they go?
I bet Jagex holds the largest market on the RWT market for Runescape.
In my opinion, the small scale goldfarmers moved on to staking and IRC dicing. The well established goldfarmers who had a good reputation (R2P, viou etc) probably arranged for private scripts or continued buying gold cheap and selling high.

Gold Farmers and Reflection bots are closely related, through my research I'm confident to state that all large "free" bot communities are owned by the gold farmers by proxies. It's a great way for them to farm gold without much resources in PC hardware and labor. They have a bunch users (usually naive kids) use their hidden key logger programs and hack accounts systematically to be sold. Unlimited inventory at a cost of next to nothing is any profiteers' dream. Think about it, it makes most business sense. It's a black market, nothing is free, there is no honor among thieves.
Therefore, in order to destroy mass distribution of reflection bots permanently, Jagex must attack the root of their plague, which are gold farmers.

Wow i never knew jagex sold gold. But, i think they should get rid of injection and gold farmers first then tackle java bots, as for color bots it will be hard to get rid of.

Its mainly a rumor… but think about it. Jagex staff can spawn an unlimited amount of gold and sell it for a good price. They would make hundreds of thousands of dollars a month.
