Astral crafting isn't as great of a money maker as it used to be. Not bad, but there are better methods for members.

I know I will get flamed for this but I feel that my anti-leech is enough to keep some of the flamers away.

Everyone who's actually TRYING to craft Astral runes for explaining and not profit Alone are going to get a bit passed if goldfarmers start making runes go back to reflection prices right? :s

Go to any world at the Astral altar….there's already atleast 3 crafters per world….no way they all are legits. There are already enough bots out, might as-well have a free one.

We should try to protect markets that still have a chance, not ones that have been killed already by pay-scripts.

I apologize, didn't mean for it to come across as sour :P I don't use a wide variety of methods in my scripts and judging from the first time I applied to members, that is what people want to see. For now I am perfectly okay with being junior members, but I would like to release my scripts to the public so I can get some feedback on them. That way, whenever I decide to apply to member's once again, I have nicely structured and stable scripts to apply with.

If you do not want to take the time to learn how to fix these compiling errors, then you do not deserve to use this. You are lucky that you even get the chance to use this script, as these types of script are usually Members+. YoHoJo's tutorials are great, and you could be using this script in a day or two of learning.

If you would like to complain about the system we use here, please take it to the BBQ pit.

The only people that will leave to go back to Java will be people like yourself. The one's with the negative attitude. We have always had people find us and stay because they LIKE to script. We don't force you to do anything, it's up to you in the end.

Hahaha! Very well done! There were more errors in this script than I expected. Really nice anti-leech, if you don't know what you're doing you're never going to make it work. Not with at least some coding knowledge. This is a very nice way to ensure it's not going to be abused, well done :)

Update :

Alright so after testing it a bit, it works great! It's really really fast. I added food support myself and it seems to do the job so far. It seems to have trouble with NPC Contact though… It doesn't scroll down to talk to the mage and end up talking to the wrong person.

Also, it should depost the astral runes, not necessarily even run but at least once every 1000 to avoid losing them.

A rest feature would really add to the script, or even better, an energy potion drinking procedure.

When it's out of law rune, it should telehome and withdraw 50 law runes instead of logging out. This also prevents losing too many law runes in case of trouble.

Overall it's a really good script, I'm amazed about how fast and accurate it is. The only thing would be to add a couple features like the ones I mentioned! It's not very afkable as of now because of some missing features but it will be once you've added those little things. Keep up the good work!

im training rc the fastest way i can, so im using zmi method, but this script is very nice, was only getting 20-22k xp so i returned to zmi but your script is very good, dunno how you didnt get members yet :) but good luck next time

Also, if you have 82+ runecrafting if you edit these two lines you can get a more accurate number of runes per hour. It's just an aesthetics thing but my OCD is too much. :P

Looks great, I'll test it out later on tonight. The anti-leech was easy enough to figure out if you've done your reading and have tried a few scripts, but hard enough that people who aren't interested in learning will shy away.

Just did the anti leach for fun, i think you have extremely well with it.
I was using my own private one but i guess it is fair enough to giive other people some profit and a fairly stable script.

You have to remove the script errors. If you have decent programming knowledge it shouldn't be a problem. If you want to learn Pascal and script for Simba you can go to the Development Tutorial sub-section here.

umm yeah spent 3 hours trying to understand the beginners guides, berely understood anything unfortunatly, guess no astrals for me, wanted some exp and cash but i gues il stick to script i found on forums..free and no exp but making 1-2mil profit an hour atm :D

you know to a point this guy is really correct, i spent 5 hours trying to learn to compile and got no where, basicly wasted lots of time considering i got like 2 hours free time a day from school work ect..and probably true i think ppl rather pay 4 dollars press play and have a 20 hour proggy, well anyways gl with this and ty for ur agility scripts

To be honest, if you can't fix the script to run then you shouldn't even be crafting astrals, I have absolutely little to none pascal knowledge and I've got it to work, I don't even think i'll be using it but i did it for fun.

To OP, i'd try making a harder anti leech, it took me 5 to 10 minutes to crack this. All of the anti leech in there needs no knowledge, most of the script tells you what to do when the error comes up (IE delete such and such) I'd butcher it up a bit more.

Edit: Ran it for around 10 minutes, found a bug here(behind the clothes shop):
Clicks on the other side of the wall, then clicks back where my player is positioned.
Edit2: Has trouble using npc contact, when it goes to drag down the npc contact screen it drags down a non-existing bar about 1 inch away from the real bar, then talks to lanthus.
Edit3: Also has a hard time realizing it teled and its time to bank, it usually has to retele and then click bank again.

Yeah anyone that doesnt rage as soon as they see the words anti and leech together would probably be able to fix this and gold farm. Im gonna dissect this script and try to put together my own private astral crafter with the specs I want.

one problem i just encountered was right after teleporting, someone had a very large familiar that was brown looking. The script clicked on the familiar (chat said "this is not your familiar") and the script just froze there by the city gate till i had to manually move it to the bank. I Don't really know what happened but yeah might of been one time thing.

My quick little proggy for just testing this script :) works awsomely , maybe it was just me or it was the script but before a fiddled with the setting in the runescape spell section , he wasnt clicking on the right spell for teleporting , thus saying in the debug box no law runes logging out even though i did have more then enough runes , anyways overall nice script nice and clean.

Anyway! I added most of the features I suggested myself :) I used a couple procedures from the excellent ZMI script and it works flawlessly. I had trouble with the NPC Contact but finally managed to make it work.

You script is great but I managed to change it more to my liking :) Again, great job! Love the anti-leech.

It's more experience than the singular Moonclan Teleport and costs nothing more (if you're smart enough to use a mud/earth staff).

it miss clicks the bank, cool anti leach bro ;)

It occasionally clicks in between the clothing store and the outer fence of Lunar Isle and then clicks outside of the fence on route to the Astral Altar and constantly repeats these two actions, causing the character to run up and down.

having mp in 5 lp in 6 and gp in 7, it does not withdraw ess to fill mp and lp but clicks them anyway

Then why were you in this thread?

Because I wanted to TRAIN runecrafting. And to read all the posts about people complaining about prices. There are other bots with other astral crafters with a lot more users of said crafter, not just simba.

if you want to train rc zmi is the best way…

ZMI loses money up to about level 70-80 depending on if you have cape. I don't care about making money, but I'd rather not lose it.

I never got to use the script still have a copy got it to compile to bad you took it down ill be more then happy to still give you the current bugs once i use it if your looking to release for members + or w/e you decide to do with it

If anything, blame jagex.. it's their double xp weekend dropping everything.. a legit player would understand that..

Yup, everything is crashing due to BXPW, and the reason you gave sums it up perfectly.
But the week after BXPW, prices are going to skyrocket.
Armor/Weapons/Rares.
+ the new graphical update is going to make Armor prices jump very high.
RuneShark couldn't buy a Black Square Shield for 500K in the grand exchange!
But back onto the main topic, releasing a script where 99% of the members who download it are leechers isn't good for anyone, including the leechers themselves.
We seriously need the Jr Member section, it would've been a perfect release there.

There's 2-3 scripts that make 1m/h at times with scroll of cleansing sitting in the herblore section. Everything that is useful or happens to make money doesn't need to be members and everyone who is a member is not useful/a contributor of anything intelligent/wanted. Many members with under 10 posts. Also, maybe it's just me, but I knew there was going to be a double xp weekend this weekend about a month ago?

I've stopped sales of my script.
I'm looking out for myself and anyone else that is crafting Astrals for money.
And not to be arrogant, but My Astral script is on par with Mats, both of ours averaging the same 4.3k runes per hour.

4.3 an hour? doesn't seem possible. My rc is in the 90s, i dont see how you could get more then 2.6 unless you use tabs to the alter.

yeah 4.3 an hr is totally impossible, but 2.6 is easy achievable.

Try wearing verac plate(lightest plate)/verac helm/fury/regen and weight reducing gear, you will not take any damage and remain at 100% energy.

4.3 is not impossible i used Mats and its legit.

if your getting 2.4k an hour then multiply that by 213. it should be around 510k an hour.

but doesnt we have to take the cost of pure essence into account

I did a misscalculation, its actually pure essence crafted into runes what I mentioned above, I tried to add in Mats astralcounter and got it eventually working and it seems like im doing 3.9k astrals/hour at 78 runecrafting atm, not bad! :p
