Within the last 2-4 days 3 of my accounts were hacked, millions of gold lost. Over 800k on my pure, and unaccountable millions on my level 105 main. Luckily I was able to use my email to recover my main which they changed the password to. (They did not change the passwords to my other two accounts). I do not use any programs for runescape but SwiftKit and Simba. My laptop is new, I have only downloaded 4 things, Firefox, Simba, Swiftkit, and CCleaner. I don't think I would get hacked by Firefox or CCleaner, and I have been using SwiftKit for years before I even botted and was never hacked. So the only other thing that could have stolen my passwords was Simba. I have downloaded the following scripts for simba:

Inception's Firemaker

I have only entered my username and passwords into the following scripts:

I just thought I would remind you all you all that Simba, the scripts, or and type of macro/runescape program could potentially steal your password. I'm not directly accusing Simba of stealing my password or any of the scripts but I am going to quit botting all together, because it's much more worth it to be able to start runescape the next day and being able to login without getting the message that your password is invalid. Not only that I had recently gotten my account back from being hacked during the summer of 2010 I actually got it back January 6th. And I was working very hard to earn my bank back I had spent about 3-5 hours at aviansies earning over 700k and then it was gone. Not to mention that today is my birthday and this was very unpleasant to discover on a day like today. If you have ever been hacked then you know how it feels. Again I just thought I would mention this because now that this has happened I am quitting bots and I would highly recommend to all bot users that it is worth taking the time to play the game legit.

It probably wasn't any of those scripts… those are pretty widely-used scripts so I'm sure somebody would have noticed if there was code that stole your password. If you want to be sure a script doesn't steal your password, open your extension menu and enable security.sex. Nor was it simba, it's completely open sourced so have a look at the code if you think that was the cause.

I had taken the time to look through some of the scripts because I was planning to start scripting for Simba, which I will not be doing. But I did not find anything really strange in them, if I could even identify it. I am only quite experienced with Java and VB.

Man you gotta understand that those specific scripts don't have any code in them that could possibly do what you're saying.

Do you have and anti-virus program? Such as AVG, Norton antivirus ect? Perhaps that's where your problem lies.

All scripts here are open source feel free to look through them yourself before running.
Simba is THE SAFEST out of all bots exactly for this reason all code is yours to see and examine.

It was probably a Java drive by.

I found that part amusing….I lost around 300m in the past week from hacking(Java related) and I was more curious how I was breached than the amount lost. If you have any problems about Simba, don't use it….we're completely open sourced and have nothing to hide.

Don't trust Java….ever :p
