Toggling these features:

&
Should this reduce the CPU usage? I would like some general advice please.
Currently having issues run even one Simba client on my laptop :duh:

It also reduces the frame rate and can have an adverse effect on the script.

Do both reduce frame rate, please explain what each feature does, in layman terms :pinch:

Lower the slider on the right to lower the runescape FPS.

This greatly helps in reducing the CPU usage.
Keep it as low as you can, but still have rs looking mostly smooth so the script can run well.

The other buttons on the bottom don't really do much to help with CPU.

I always keep the thing on the right always on top and disable graphics. Only slightly reduces lagg.

Simba doesn't use that much CPU for me. I am running Flight's ZMI script now and a few other things, and I'm only at ~45%.

Look at S.M.A.R.T Manager if you want to change process priority of the complete simba process's them selves. Setting everything lower then Normal will help a fair bit.

Disabling graphics doesn't help very much at all.
And keeping slider high will use MORE CPU not less.

I keep the slider high to improve performance. Disabling graphics prevents additional lag to be caused due to the increase in performance.

It it only helps 'improve performance' to a certain extent, and after that it just hogs CPU.
Anything above like 20-30 FPS will not (or SUPER slightly) help performance and just eat up CPU.

On smart type " ` displayfps " without quotes and press enter.
At top right it will display your FPS. Move the slider around and watch it change. Once it's between 20-30 you can keep it that low and be just fine.

FPS is already at ~15 with the slider at default setting.

I have been running 4 bots @ >90% CPU and <15% RAM.

Sometimes even running 3 will max the CPU.

It's virtual FPS.. it doesn't do anything.. It doesn't actually lower runescape's FPS at all! Just slows down how you see it.. scripts will see it different and so will the client.

Ah fair enough.
Any advice on reducing CPU usage?

Wrong.

I lowered it to the minimum and my sudoku script would mess up solving the simplest of puzzles when normally it would solve every single one.

I've found that actually leaving the slider at default uses less CPU than lowering it. I kept the same windows open and averaged the CPU use over several minutes with resource monitor.

It's definitely the Simba client, massive overusage of CPU.

Would running client on Ubuntu make any difference to CPU usage?

No updates to fix the massive CPU usage?

Linux uses less CPU on default settings vs windows on default settings but on windows you can decrease your quality for performance in your settings, you could aswell run razer gamebooster to shut down not needed processes.
