Graphic setting Profile changing a potential risk for detection?

Their is a major issue with S.M.A.R.T
which is when you decide to play your character legit
you login to the runescape webclient
Most people are most likely to click Auto-Setup
When the Webclient prompts them
Optimus their new bot detection when it is released will it log an excess Profile change… being able to detect if we are logging in through smart most likely because of its default graphic settings it applies

We should all be wary of these security issues with our bots because it could lead to a nuke of all our mains if they are detected with such a simple algorithm

Their is another thing that could be possible and that is surfing the Rs homepage while being connected to the server and or doing actions on the server and clicking a link at the same time in a very close proximity of doing an action on the server off the same IP

These are very easy ways for Jagex to detect if we are possibly using a bot and subject us to monitoring

What are your thoughts on this everyone? :stirthepot:

Thing is, they can't ban you for playing RS on a crappy computer. I have a nice computer and I hate the look of their HD, so I always play legit on lowest settings since it helps make it look like the '06 version.

What about choosing Safe Mode instead of DirectX or so? Would they detect that?

safe mode is faster for some pc's, so no.

However, this could be a basis for a further investigation and could result in your account getting "flagged".

I actually used to play some on resizable/high until they ruined that with their "Progressiveism" (lolwut) graphics updating.
