I am remoting into an extra computer which I run bots on and have been running into some issues regarding SMART. During a remote session, I will see the SMART screen flicker black and then go back to showing runescape. At the 1.5-2 hour mark in a script, the screen will turn completely black and throw this error in Simba:

Here's some info:
- This happens over both LogMeIn and UltraVNC
- Happens with graphics enabled or disabled on SMART
- The SMART slider is untouched
- Normal SRL settings in runescape: safe mode, min, brightness high, etc.
- Windows 7 x64 professional
- In VNC, I didn't set "Turn off wallpaper" or "Turn of Aero"
- And I run a simple theme in windows 7 with no aero anyways.

Any solutions ?

Key words "Out of Memory Error: Java Heap Space"
Google on how to increase Java heap size.
Just wondering, how many are you running on that one machine?

Hmmm, I do have it hooked up to a TV upstairs (Don't want to be running up and down all the time) and I noticed the flickering even when not in a remote session.

Must be related to the graphics. It's a i5-2500 (Regret not doing unlocked version or even a i7-2600k like my main PC) and running off the integrated graphics on the CPU (Intel HD Graphics 2000). I have all windows updates up to speed and Java 6 Update 31 installed.

I have an old GeForce 8600GTS on hand, I should throw that in and see if it still flickers, or even just unplug it from the TV and just remote in.

I'd rather fix the problem rather than just delay it (Happens at 1.5 hours, i max proggies at 12 hours, so I'd need to increase the heap per client 8x; well I am only using like 3GB of RAM out of 16GB :p; Simba is waayyyy CPU intensive and not so much memory intensive like nexus was)

But running only 4 simba's on that i5, my i7-2600k is running 6 @ ~75%.

EDIT: I've tried multiple refresh rates on the TV (29Hz/30Hz interlaced, 59Hz/60Hz) but since it's only the SMART windows that flicker, probably not a display thing.

Enable Aero (use default Windows 7 theme), and then reboot. It might not fix your heap problem, but it most likely will fix the flickering.

The heap problem is only because of the flickering cause it disables/enables SMART as seen in the cmd pic (too many paint redraws caught up in memory or something).

EDIT: Didn't fix the flickering.

Reinstalled Simba and Java, nothing.

Will try the unplugging option, then video card option.

Edit: I'll just increase heap space for now. Downloading Visual C++ to edit libsmart.dll
