S U O M I is the number 1 player on runescape so i was just wondering how he is doing it. On average he get like 5m xp per day so either is has NO-LIFE or he has a really pro bot. Which one seems more likely to you guys?

All those number one players started banking extreme amounts of effigies and depending on skills done this can be a very achievable process without bots and without no lifing

This guy is 100% legit and has 0% life.
He has a youtube channel dedicated to his 200mil exp counter resets and his chats to JMods.
Pretty much once you hit the top 10 rs players, there is no way to bot as every so often (while training) a JMod spawns in and has a chat to him to make sure he aint botting.

And yeah he spends ALL his time effigy hunting. He's gotten like 1.5k+ effigies and a couple of hundred thousands crimson/blue charms.

people barely know the top 10 players of rs, zezima was, is and will be always known, we have seen what like 10-15 different top 1 players since him and we barely know the name of them although some are still in top 10 like telmomarques and kingduffy

suomi is an adicted to effigyscape, playing like 16 hrs a day hunting effigys, he is a know life but to be number 1 in a multiplayer game you must have no life, thats just how it is, and that is why most of us will never reach the top 10

Here's my deal. I have a 138 main with 2351 total. ~377 days in a log. But I've shared the account before. For like 2 years with my 2 best friends and now someone else(although I have done the most work myself).

I was watching a youtube vid of suomi and he showed his a log. Close to 990 days… By himself! I love runescape and all and it's fun but holy cow. I couldn't see myself getting completionists cape or at least if I did then I would quit because to me it's kinda like beating the game, I'm 26 lvls away from the 90s cape so theres still some fun to squeeze out. Wasted Life.

i also have shared my account with my best buddy (shhh its a secret :D), although he got hacked once because someone gave him a link to a clan site and so, but he got the cash back by himself so that was a lesson he learned, my acc is very much like yours, and besides me and my buddy playing (he now does mostly minigames) theres always the botting time which is alot :p

It's not how do you become a SUOMI? But do you want to become a SUOMI? I recently came back to RS a few months ago, and I didn't recognize any of the players on the top ten. The only top players I would consider "Top Players" are the OG ones Zezima, Old Nite(RIP), King Duffy etc.

In short you can become a SUOMI if you have absolutely no life, no gf, no job, etc. Even then why would you want to do that?

Zezima is absolutely the best and probably still the best rs player.. After him, the only name I ever knew was woox16. That's the only name I know..

Until about a few weeks ago, I learned who SUOMI was.. and I looked him up on Runetracker.. dude gets ridiculous amounts of XP that's not even possible at that rate.. he'd have ran out of effigies for SURE!

S U O M I 2,876,905 <— Gained that much TODAY..


Overall he gains an average of 4.56m XP per day..

Yeah I saw Suomi at dung on w117 yesterday assiting someone. I watched that video where Suomi is talking with Jacmob. They gain the crazy exp because they train slayer all the damn time. Range exp/Health exp/Slayer exp/Defence exp in multicombat areas and just spam cannon. I have done it and you complete whole slayer tasks in half the time.

Set up your master to give you certain tasks basically and just cannon them. In the video Suomi had like 200k+ cannon balls lol. The secret is be insanely rich.

I dont get it how he does do that.

just forget you have a life outside rs and play as most time as you can, thats the secret, even if you do that you still have to expect other to not do that :/

They don't do slayer, they just hunt effigies. It's just sitting in the same spot for months doing nothing but checking your prayer, your cannon and if there are effigies.

2. Beg for donations.
3. Do slightly more expensive 200M's and beg for donations.
4. Beg for donations.
5. Do a bunch of buyable 200M's insanely quickly. (and beg for donations).
6. Start farming effigies until you get fucked by an update.
7. ???
8. Maximum autism level achieved.

Because he is the number one player, do you know how much attention Jagex pays to people who are even in the top 100 leaderboard? They probably hire people just to watch him rofl.

You just have to be a person who has a big will to reach the goals they set.

I don't get why some of you guys are dissing him. He obviously finds achieving these goals fun. Even if he has to do something he finds boring, it's all for getting the goal he's set and he finds it worth doing, if he didn't he wouldn't.

He claims to have worked hard and invested his money, assuming he now lives off the returns he gets on those. He again claims to do at least an hour exercise a day, rides his exercise bike while playing RS. That's more than most people, nevermind RS players.

He spends all his GP on gaining fastest exp possible, he receives a lot in donations. A guy from my old clan that I still talk to on vent was from Finland, he made bank staking and gave suomi a 1b donation because he's "flying the flag" for finland. He would have put a lot of that into cannonballs and merching which he does a lot of.


It's not no-lifing, that term is subjective. What do other people do? Go work for most of their awake day, most people dislike their jobs too. He's doing something he evidently enjoys.

So to become #1 you have to want it, then have the drive and determination to get there.

Zezima is still more of a "legend" to me than suomi, he done it at a time when the competition was weaker but both deserve recognition.

Those record gains are from stocking up on multiple things that you can claim exp for in 1 go. For example soul wars zeal, pest control points, brimmy agility minigame etc… Look at this record, most exp gained in a day:

1. A Lv Too Low 190,033,455

That was from Maximum soul wars zeal which apparently took the guy almost a year to get. He just spent it all in 1 day.

Alot of exp gain records were from effigies though, which has ruined the chances of anyone catching up now.

It's easy to be S U O M I ..
1- Live to your parents house and ask them for 20$ per weeks.
2- With this 20$, find a pusher that will sell you 7 speed ( Drug, not legit :o)
3- Take one per day.
Effect : You will never sleep, never eat and always be concentrated on Runescape :)
Tips : You can stole like 4$ to your parents and buy a RedBull .. It will help you :)

There is a video of him burning 10k charms/hr at summoning obelisk. All the effigy farming gave him tons of charms. 10k charms/hr is mils/hr that's for sure.

In a way RS is a "job" to him. Some people go sit in an office in front of a computer for 8 hours and he spends the time (and a little more) playing RS. I highly doubt he actually worked for enough money to live off of for years without a proper education though, especially since in Finland it's so easy to stay unemployed and get enough money to really easily live off of with his lifestyle.

Meh if he wants to be number one in a danm game which in all honesty isn't 1% as popular as WoW or the other big name MMO's then so be it, I like to bot and enjoy the benefits that legit players do but without dedicating so much of my time into the game. I just find it facinating coming home like a day later and finding out that my bot is still running, is that weird lol?

By the way, I spend most of my time on rs questing since it's pretty much nessesary to reach some training spots or complete some requirements for gear which is retarded.

I'm really wondering about Suomi's IRL situation. Not sure what situation would allow him to average 15h/day on RuneScape.

He plays about 16 hours a day. That is pretty hard to do lol.

Because I watch his vids, he is probably at cave crawlers with a cannon and is hunting for effigies, and if he plays 23 hours a day with 1 hour of sleep, then he could be getting a s*** load of exp.

other than the most plausible reason that he is really no-lifer that plays rs all day, there could be a few other possibilities:
1. He share acct with rl friends/family members. No 1 really knows much about him in real life so this is highly possible. All those youtube videos could be made by a single person though, or that they watch each other play so even the way they talk is the same.
2. He has a stable private bot which plays sound when a jmod/player/random is found, so he may legit few hours and bot&babysit few hours and make tons of vids to try covering out the fact that he bots.
Either way there is no point trying to be him; being 1st in a pure grinding kind of game through perceived legitting is a real life disgrace and nth to be proud of. (at the very most it proves that u have great determination and patience?)

In my opinion Zarfot is the best player. He inspired me alot. Zezima was Rank1 a really long time and was or is still a really amazing Runescape player. But I think Soumi definietly deserves Rank1 because his life is pure dedication to Runescape. =)

Yeah, I remember reading a long time ago he died of cancer (R.I.P.). Along with the Old Nite and Zezima, the only names I remember were ThePower7(Who I've seen chopping magics) and n0valyfe(Who I've seen in Lumbridge basement). I don't even bother to look at the high scores anymore.

He's pretty much a second n0valyfe. N0valyfe was #2 and took the #1 spot from zezima for quite a while after only playing 2 years, and passed old nite in 2005 in a single year of playing, which is beyond fast when you think about it.

I used to be friends with him, until I quit for about 6 months. Hes actually really nice and spams "<3" all the time lol. Basically to be suomi you need to have rich parents and have no obligations with everything being payed for you(thats what he claims he has). Oh and donations from people don't hurt.

Aw, was gunna post a video of 3 people donating him 69m spirit shards but it was taken down. He has gotten a ton of money through donations.
