LOL this actually made me kind of laugh
I was fixing someones script and uploaded my own username and password with the script onto this website. I didn't realize until like 5 hours later.
It's whatever. I lost 20mil on my main… but the guy did drop two chaotic weapons.
GF rapier, GF cls. I don't pk, pvm, or stake anymore, so I don't really care that much.
Just a remind to all you noobs, who are new to this communtiy, Don't post your username and password when you upload a code to this website. MAKE SURE YOU DELETE IT, or else you lose weeks of gaming items – like me.
:duh:

D: Sucks, too bad! Hate it that this happens.
Before all the Java bots died SRL was much nicer and 90% of the time when people saw that happened they would change password and PM you your user/pass!
Oh well.
Dude, did you manage to get the IP address!? If you did we could have identified and banned the guy!

The worst part about these types of people is that they drop rare/hard to get untradeables like chaotic, torso's, firecapes, etc.
They gain nothing from this, and you lose hours and hours of your time.
You'd have to be a really malicious individual to do that…

I left my credentials in my SRL Memeber application form, luckily a member changed the pass for me and sent it to my PM.
Im guilty of making this mistake, the admins should implement a system to detect when you're posting code to display a warning screen when you click "Post Topic/Reply" etc, just as a failsafe to check if you have left your credentials in your script.

Agreed, I
HATE hearing about people lose untradeables. Most of the time it's children dropping them for teh lulz too. Sometimes people actually alch them or die in the wilderness for the gp… Which is like 200k for a chaotic and 70k for fire cape? I don't remember, pretty insignificant amount.

I don't understand when people hack some why they drop their dung gear, if you are going to be a jerk and hack someone don't add to insult by hurting them in ways that do NOT benefit you in any possible way.
Let alone I don't understand why people hack, they are pixels go earn them yourself.

You'll find that this is a rare occasion just like YoHoJo said, this would have been unheard of previously before the bot nuke. Dropping your chaotics, what could the possibly gain out of doing that? It's just hateful, there's no reason for doing that. I guess it's how they make themselves feel big?
I know it doesn't matter much to you now but I've decided always to keep my info removed from the script, even my own scripts. Not that I'm worried about the script, I'm just worried that during one of my testing & releasing periods I'll have forgotten I left my info in there somewhere.
