So he's basically giving advanced warning to people so they can remove all gold and items from their accounts.

The last part made me laugh, I'll believe it when I see it. :)

i would believe in him especially after their release clock for the working client…

and of course after saying to never work for jagex, yay thanks to him for letting everyone know :)

thats exacly the case, i saw the post when i browsed the rsbuddy forum, they were talking about rare bot, he posted 3 times, that one and 2 others to answer some guy who posted about how he was still expecting rsbuddy new client and all, clearly making fun of him…

If they all get banned, it would just be a "I told you so".

Screen-scraper nuke? That's a funny joke.

It was a thread titled "what do mods do". Some guy was complaining that RSBuddy is just a dump filled with ads and useless posts. I dont know how Jacmob went from a mods job to that but he did.

I wouldn't worry at all unless the new bot was made by Jacmob and Jagex as a rogue project but who would be ddosing if it isn't rsbuddy circle.

If there is a screen-scraper nuke, I hope it involves Runescape turning into a sphere and revolving around a sun, giving us night and day.

…One can only hope something this awesome would happen. :(

Screen-scrapers have been around since Classic.
Jagex is never, I repeat, NEVER going to be able to completely get rid of screen-scrapers.
As for RareBot, I've been using ever since it came out, I'm not banned yet,

They can only slow us down, not stop us :)

Don't forget Jacmob said "pending mass action". If I where you I would stop using rarebot now and start playing legit for a while.
Jagex love it when they can do mass bans, it makes for a good news post and keeps legit player happy so they will probably ban all the accounts at once if its true.

I do not like Jacmob, for personal reasons. However, I agree with his statement. To think that injection is back for good is foolish. Optimus will wipe Injection out completely but as for Color bots, I am interested in how it would stop them(Not saying I am for or against it).

Actually I think you're right on the money (literally) about that. They've been banning people for gold-farming lately as opposed to macroing, no? What better way to scare players into transferring mass amounts of wealth to a 'main' player from all their throw away accounts? They can simply spread a rumor like this and shortly after HIGHLY monitor player trades.

This. Jacmob is full of lies, don't believe anything he says.
Steer away from RareBot just to be safe, eventhough I'm sure it's just another Jacmob lie.

I wouldn't trust injection just yet. After all they Jagex did manage to nuke them all out before…

After years of injection bots getting caught why would you turn to one again?

Wouldn't be surprised really.. Loads of people using Rarebot has been banned extremely fast.

As for the "screen-scaping" bot nuke, I feel like the only way they'd be able to make it much more difficult for color bots would be by implementing night and day and having the colors continually, slightly changing.
But, what would happen in places underground, such as the Mining Guild, etc.

Jagex told him to scare us by posting bs like that.. They know they are powerless

Lol, he just had to include the 'screen-scraper', bet he is hoping to have a end for us.

Beating screen scrapers for more then a short time is impossible. Literally, it is impossible to do so by any means, unconditionally. As for rarebot, good fight and good riddence.

Proving once again he is not an employee of Jagex. I wouldn't listen too much to this guy if I where you.

Noticed this the other day after reading 14 pages of Q&A, it could either be a bad joke or a subtle clue.

Lol i think that if you haven't used an injection bot after the nuke (rarebot) you should be fine. There would be no reason for jagex to keep accounts up for so long after the nuke if they were tagged. Probably some random bullsh*t from him. The "screen-scraper nuke", don't expect anything that would permanently destroy simba or whatever. Maybe it is just jagex who will end RS from existing just like Jacmob did with RSbuddy :D

im new to this thread but could some one explain to me what does screen scraper nuke mean? and does this mean people that used rarebots , runedreams.. or even Rid get perm ban?

EDIT! - Sorry i read up RuneDreams is not effected by this :D "phew".. but what about Rid? does that effect that too?

No RiD is a color bot like simba aswell.

RuneDream is a colour bot like Simba ;), although not as productive.

With a community like this im sure we will rebuild no matter what if this was to happen.
