Jagex giving out 14 day membership on new accounts. so if you refer your account before making it you get boost for 10% for one week and starter pack on the new account you made if that matters.

Okay jagex well email you free trial or it pop up when u log in try logging out 5 times or do tut like i did or try this might work play video game or facebook for 10 mins check back for the email when u get it click on it Boom free trial plus xp boost take longer for some and faster for others not sure why

yeah but for some people they didnt have to do that i think it the delay from emails i used yahoo and it took like 30 mins per boost lol and few people got it instant im not sure why

It is not based on that. I gave the exp boost to my non-membership account and it is based on ip. I managed to make 7 membership referrals (5 to myself, 2 to dweg) and then they stopped letting me do it.

So every time you do it you get 7 days dbl xp. If you do it multiple times do the day increase by 7 each time?? Or how does it work

it doesnt stack with itself or anything else (eg. wisdow aura, bxpw, lumberjack cloth), and u can only activate 5 times/yr (which equates to a bonus 5x10%=50% PER YEAR). And i would suggest not to bot on the new acct u referred cos if it gets banned ur main may be flagged too.

Thanks a lot for sharing this I can confirm it's working I did the tutorial and just started blood pact quest I didn't have an email by then so I did as you said and set recovery questions/turned tutorial mode off. I then logged out totally then went back into game and went to lobby/logged out 3 times and I got a lobby-popup. I used mailinator as well if anybody is wondering.

it only work if u use the RAF link to create a NEW account, if ur acct was created before the troll update or u didnt use a RAF link then it wont work.

You can have 5 referral boosts of 10% per year so it would be 70 days of 10%

Goldfarming is not possible (Max of 300Stacked)

However, if you want to run an account.. get 300 Dragon Bones, transfer to main to sell you can…

You can't have more than 300 member items stacked (300 dragon bones) but you can have (300 guam 300 marrential 300 infernal ashes, 300 dragon bones) and such..

Oh and you can't sell more than 50 member objects at a time (Just transfer to main)

The new account needs to be subscribed to get xp boost? Meaning it needs a membership purchased for it? Dont plan on paying for a membership not even for my main so how is it that you get around this to activate the boost? Do I need to activate the members trial in order to get the xp boost?

yeah you need logout also when u login should say 7 days remain of 10% ingame

That just took me to refer a friend page nothing on there saying it patch but like i said he just did it like 5 mins ago so he can do agli with 10% maybe you having issue doing your boost or somewhat but it still working i just did boost right now on other friend refer link and he said he got it also :C so not sure but if it broken i dont care few of my friends got 5 boost and i did also + this community

im gonna do this as much times as i can since you can get multiple xp boosts

Only do it 5 times since u can only use 5 per year lol :C save you about 40 dollars if u were going pay mems for extra boost :)

i used referral link to make new account but once i made the new account and strated the trial i still dont get xp boost.

If you do what he says, and then log in and out 3-5 times a pop up will show for the 14 day free trial.

You have to activate the membership trial through the email and then do what strafed said (do all the steps and log in and out a few times and then it will appear)

It appears to have been silently fixed. Your new account gets 14 day trial membership and 7 day double experience bonus (until level 30 any skills) but existing account (referrer) gets squat unless new account extends/renews trial membership.

Still, with the double experience on the new account you can get a new bot leveled up and making some money in a hurry.

Did that for me on the second account I referred. First one it came right away.

Thanks for the heads up on this! Seems like a lot of work but you can't complain about an extra 10% xp! Does it last all 7 days or does it expire after X amount of XP?

Edit: Not to mention I wouldn't mind having a account with 14 days membership trial, will give me something to level up and maybe use as a account to practice my scripting with.

I don't think they are offering trials anymore and what I'm training is a pure so defo not doing Blood Pact if that's the only way to get a trial :/

The 10% boost for the referrer no longer works. Some do gooder posted the bug/glitch on the official forums. Shortly after it stopped working. You now only get the boost if the new account signs up (pays) for members beyond the 14-day trial.

I believe you still get the 14 day trial when you sign up a new a account. After all that was the whole point of the Burthorpe/Taverly makeover: Start everyone in the new tutorial showing off how great members is so everyone will sign up.

During that time I believe (not 100% sure) the 25K trade limit is temporarily lifted and returns when your trial runs out. Unless of course you pony up the money for continued members.

Edit: Just tried trading with an account that had the 14 day trial and expired. 25K limit is back once trial expires.

nice guide, this is something i will try out one the double xp weekend to get an extra 10 percent xp bonus.

You did not know that? Of course the friend you referred to have to get member. Got this 10% exp boost some time ago. It doesn´t really make a difference ;)
