Yes, everyone use on VM to see if that is working or not. Some viruses are anti-VM so they cannot run on VM. You can use it on VM. Currently I am using on my own pc Rarebot.

Just make sure that your host computer has a firewall ect, some viruses spread via the LAN (Local Area Network) so in theory, IF rarebot has a virus, it could still infect your main pc.
