Hello everyone
I've started last week on creating my own web based control panel to control my smart clients over the internet
I've succeeded with that and now I am able to start simba and smart by using a vb script that reads a webpage and if the value is what it needs to be, it starts Simba and runs a script perfectly
But today I was reading some documentation about Simba and noticed it also has socket functions. I've worked with socket servers before, but when I was trying it in Simba today, I saw that I needed my smart client Id to be able to Connect to my socketserver
This is the procedure I need to call
procedure ConnectSocket(Client: integer; IP, Port: string);
So my questions are
1 How do I get my client Id from smart?
2 If your smart client has an Id, then isn't it possible to start multiple smart clients while only one Simba instance is open?
EDIT: [SOLVED] the client id was the id of the created socket
