SRL Archive - Who Are You ? Who ? Who ?

So I haven't played RS for a while.

Found out Those RSBOTS/Autofighter/NxBot Bro's was roped, raped, and sued by Jagex.

Rsbot/Powerbot Staff is procrastinating and bs'ing there members; about releasing a bot that's really never going to be released.

Rsbuddy CEO/Admin left to work for Jagex, thus leaving scripters, customers, and botting all together.

SRL. Is still SRL and I love it. SCAR absolutely has to have the longest track record, and doesn't take recognition for it.


I'm back to squeeze the market, expect premium & free scripts from me. True story from an oldfag.

Yes, and I'm not sure of Sythe haven't been on there a while either.
Was too many scammers when I was there.

Thing is scammers will leak a script just, for a rep point.

I'll check it out though. Ask around if it's a little better community.

When you say premium/free it's implied that you meant payed/free to 99% of people (you being the 1%). I think instead of being rude to Bebe for misinterpreting your vague post, you should go into more detail in the first place next time.

And you should have said "free/good free" if you don't plan on selling them. But just to say it to make sure you know, script selling is pretty low. If you think you should be paid for helping someone out, you are in the wrong community.

You aren't an oldfag dude, you haven't even been here that long..

I wasn't being rude, I was being blunt. You can't handle my personality, then that's your personal problem.

I didn't see much buzz of SRL. Why? Because there aren't many scripters, the community moved to 'easier' to implement runescape bots, and the forum never changed. I mean never.

The look and feel of it is just blah, it needs a touch up.

Getting paid for hours or even days of work, and support for something you will not be respected for. It's the internet.

IRL no one will care if you program scripts for a website, nor if your being respected for it. In the end I'm doing it as an enjoyment, and a great learning experience. Not for your approval, or judgement.

Your analysis is correct; all easy bots are gone now, so there isn't any alternative -as of now-. thus everybody flocks to our place. Luckily we never advertised ourselves, so most newbs are surprised to witness such a "mature", "normal" community.

I believe the saying "build it, and they will come" still have play in this matter.

Not only will they come. They'll stay, and come back.

True SRL is in limbo (From my perspective) a push here, and some buzz there will make the utmost difference. It was weird to see botters that know nothing of SCAR, as it has never been 'rebranded/renamed', the domain has always stayed intact, and the community is still 'alive' so to speak..
