SRL Archive - RS3 Outdated / Broken Scripts

What is this?:
Mines concentrated gold in LRC (P2P RS Members). You must have 80+ mining, be wielding your pickaxe- dragon pickaxe is best. Script will constantly mine the gold and drop it, giving a lot of exp. Banking will NEVER be done for the public as it will drop the price of gold ore- this is just for XP! Please do not request banking, but you are free to add it yourself if you keep the script private.

What do I do?:
Position your character here in the south-most safespot of LRC gold, and have followed the above requirements:
Also extract the file alarm.wav into your main Simba folder, at C:\Simba\. This will play the noise when you get a random so you can manually solve it.

Also has a ton of other cool stuff!
Auto updating,
Failsafes - if it can't find the rock too many times it will logout.
Should detect all randoms - if not, the developers are to blame.
Anti-ban.
Switches world every ~25 minutes (can disable in settings, if you wish).
Simple to setup and use!
Should be stable.

Known bugs: sometimes doesn't drop the last row of ore; this is due to a chooseoption bug in SRL. No other major issues reported.

Mine is essentialy the same as his.
However, mine relies on chat messages and I haven't found a way to make it switch the rocks :$
Long story short, it's in dev.

Its possible but relatively harder due to the nature of LRC, and even if it gets done it wont be released to public to retain value of gold ore.

Superheating can be added though (will rise the price of nat rune=$$), and even if harry do not want to release superheat support it would be really easy for any1 who are willing to spend 1~2hr learning to add in a very simple superheat procedure before the dropping (or u can even find one of the superheat scripts and extract the procedure directly!)

Proggy, yay. Ran it last night, got to 84 mining. Apparently all went well.

Also, the only random I had was the Pillory one and it solved that.

I'm not sure what happened. but its working for longer since i restarted it

Will give a proggie if banking is added (you can just send me the code in a PM so not everyone can see it). I have all the requirements with 97 mining and i will get you a 6 hour proggie if it will run that long… but honestly im not a fan of dropping ore so i will only use it if it banks because anytime I mine at LRC, i use the gold ore to train my smithing.. No point to mine all that ore if im just going to drop it,

It's really quite random. Sometimes 30k/hr, sometimes 90k/hr. LRC is so random with its ore spawn timers.

I'll edit this proggie later.
It seems to be better using in a home world, since that when we hop, sometimes appears players and start talking. Being in world 76/84 seems to be the best, disabling the world hop option.

there is nothing special going on. it just logs in waits even when there is a rock available. then logs out. no box around the rock. its only since update.

This looks awesome, I'm going to try it out and report back :)

I have exactly the same problem

It's because of DidClick crosshair colour changing. Wait for Narcle or an SRL Dev to update SRL.

Or be pro and update it by going to /Simba/Includes/SRL/SRL/core/mouse.simba and replace the DidClick function with this http://villavu.com/forum/showpost.php?p=929440&postcount=2

I hope that you can make it so Skiller can use this script too. Some scripts have ´Pickaxe wielded: True/False. If you can make it Skillerfriendly, I will use this to get 99 Mining on my Skiller ;D

Yeah I've done that I think but it doesn't seem to pick world 84, maybe it's because of the recent update, thanks for the help anyways. I can't check what I've put in because not at home atm, I'll try again in the morning.

small suggestion, when u have mined half or 3/4 full invent and the gold rock disapears can you maybe make the script drop the rest of the gold in the invent for when the rock comes back because ive seen it mine like 24 rocks and sit there intill the gold comes back again then mine 4 then drop the ore, if you know what i mean, it a waste of time when the gold is back and ready to mine instead of just dropping rocks while waiting.

Guys, banking won't happen. I don't know how many times us members have to say this, but none of us condone goldfarming, so if you want it to bank, YOU will have to edit the script yourself for your own benefit. Nobody is going to give you a bank method so that you can cause the prices to crash. Sorry.

Auto retaliate is always off. I hate auto fighting, I will blame lag. Usually always happens between the 30 - 45 minute mark.

Although the red square that is drawn around where it thinks the 'rock' is I often see being drawn in a completely wrong position.

Really cool script, Harry. :) I'd like to take a look through this to see how you detected when the gold deposit was available and when it was dried up (also what you did in the instance it was dried up).

I also plan to make a gold-miner for this one particular spot that will give a few options to the user:

• Power-mining & dropping
• Power-mining, super-heating, and dropping
• Mining & banking
• Mining, super-heating, and banking

Have you considered adding any of these features to the script or just keep it solely as a power-miner? I've started constructing the base of the script as much as I can without even logging into Runescape. For the time being it's not an option for me, but I can atleast, for now, put together a base and simply fill in the blanks when I have real internet again.

I just use uptext for most of it.

I was considering adding the superheating and then dropping the ores, but not really a big issue to me as I am already maxed XP in both Magic and Smithing.

No. Stop requesting it everyone, or I will start deleting posts. Anyone who adds banking is allowed for their private copy, but any sharing of banking enabled of this script is not allowed.

Having access to the coal spot nearby or other gold spot while waiting for the rocks to respawn would be gr8. Nearly double the xp rate.

used this for 800k+ exp it would bug out at times but for the most part its ok, it was working a few hours ago but now its giving me a ton of errors. I deleted the line like you said in the above post but theres alot of more issues raising up now, something about bitmaps not freed and others.

Got it up and running, the debug cleared automatically after 20 minutes so Im not sure how to give you a proggy! But right now it seems to be having issues dropping inventories once its full, Not sure if this was lag on my part but I will keep testing it out to see if it was me.

Edit: Yup its looking like it must of been lag on my part, sorted some stuff out to speed up me internet and its running like a dream, This is what the debug is looking like atm!

Only 2 inventories so its not up to speed yet but before I was getting around 55k an hour at level 80 somehow?!

LRC is a very dynamic location. XP/hr can vary a LOT depending on when the rock collapses and when it respawns, both are very random timeframes.

I modified it so it low alch the gold ore to maximise the xp/hour and I don't drop the last column so I can summon mining familiar mysellf.

Still WIP but it seems like it's working relatively good at the moment. Theres a few minor problems though. Like the reports for example, since you calculate the xp when you drop the ores.. and that my modified version drop ores extremely rarely, so I disabled it. Also the low alch is a bit to unhuman-like to my liking, so I'll need to look into that.

I might try to make it run to the other rock and mine it, and go back to this spot once it's down but I still have no idea how I could do that, and I'll first need to fix all the bug/problem I have with low alch first.

I'll keep you informed.

Ok right now the alcher works very good, it dosen't have alot of fail safe but it's good enough for me. I'm trying to make it walk to the other deposit and detect it.. but damn it's harder than I expected.

It mines in safespot. Any world will work. Wear mining boosting stuff such as varrock armour if you have it.

Nope, I won't. Never will I add banking to this for public. It wouldn't be that hard to add if you know the basis of scripting, making a way to walk there, bank, and walk back would be a piece of cake. Consider it a special kind of "antileech", but without actually hurting anyone who isn't educated enough to add it.

You need to stop asking this… did you not see the 10 posts above yours asking for this and all of which were being replied to saying something along the lines of:

Not trying to get everyone mad at me about this banking situation because I know you want this as a pure exp script and not for the prices of gold ore to drop but…Since mining isnt necessarily a huge profit skill with all those people at LRC now a days, I wouldn't expect gold ore prices to drop anytime soon with all the people mining. It will even look more bot like for a person to be dropping the gold ore so close to a bank. And heck look at other scripts such as banking yews, the prices are steady. Not trying to persuade you, its your choice, nice script.

They continue to go down at a steady rate, and they only went up a bit due to bxpw. They will continue to drop. There aren't even that many good (stable) yew cutters other than an edgeville one which is usually filled with other people, making a lot less logs gained/hr. Add in the fact that woodcutting is a "competitive" skill where more people training it gives less logs per person. LRC is not competitive at all so it's always fast!

End of October is when the nuke happened. It's nice seeing prices go back up, and I can be almost certain that a stable public advertised LRC script will make the prices crash again. So sorry, I love for the legits to have fun+make a profit, just a little bit more than you fellow botters :D

I was using varrock elite and dragon pick, plus Im 93 mining.

Im getting 33k xp a hour, is it because im using a rune pick? Or the time the rock takes to appear?

Dragon pickaxe is 15% faster than rune… you'll get like 50k an hour rather than rune pick is about 30k an hour

is there a way to make it hop every 10-20 mins? or when rock depletes it automatically hopps?

Of course you could let it world hop every 10-20 minutes or every 300 minutes. Just change the number in the script.

WorldLeaveMarker := (2100000 + Random(1500000) - Random(1500000)); // 2100000 ms = 35 minutes. 1500000 ms = 25 minutes. Add and subtract the 25 minutes from 35 giving a huge change of randomness for world-switching.              

Just change it to whatever you need.

Hey Harry, ik that you've gotten a ton of banking requests but I'm just curious as to the reasoning behind this (havn't started using this script yet btw :S, looks epic so far.)

1.) Do legiters REALLY mine gold for cash? Isn't it like 100/200k an hour? 2.) Indirectly speaking, wouldn't someone make more money legitly playing by using gold ore for smithing/crafting or such due to the low prices (money saving)? 3.) Wouldn't most f2pers/p2pers much rather mine coal/rune for cash? Anyways yeah, just wonderin. Thanks :D

Haha, but maybe you should try to make it with some kind of gems. As I made it (same methode lol) I made more profit with gems + gold bars. But i dont know the actually prices =)

It is because the downtime of the rocks I think. I am 99 and getting like 40-50k too. Same exp with banking in w84.

Absolute best miner by far. Using this to get 99 mining after getting rolled about 6 months ago from 99 :/ I still have the trimmed mining cape in my bank lol, I've been wanting to wear that for a while now. This script is helping me achieve that ;)

There's something going on with the client, when it tried to switch worlds, somehow the screen goes black and never gets to the logon screen. Any fixes for this?

EDIT: When I hit disable SMART, the screen goes back to normal. What is causing this?

Harry, 1 thing I would maybe suggest, not sure if you would like to take the time to add this feature in but… When waiting for the rock to respawn, have it drop the ores currently in the inventory. This would gain a little bit of xp p/h.

I know that requires quite some changes, but just a thought.

writeln('Hovering, waiting for new uptext to mine.');

Add "if (invcount>4) then begin dropallh; Exit; end;" right after that writeln. Should work. Give it a shot. Though it will also mess with the xp counter a bit.

Just entered that into the script and gave it a quick test run, works smoothly. Nice and simple fix. Thank you very much Harry.

One small problem I found while using this, after the update today, is that it seems to be mis clicking the rock and it makes the player run out of the safe area. I think the red boxed area is off center sometimes which causes this to happen.

P.S. 16k from 99 mining from 94 with your script :D!

Not sure about the misclicking. It should check the uptext before clicking, so that shouldn't happen.

I haven't messed with this in a while, but I use a DTM and not colors. Unless Jagex changed the black background around a lot, it should still click properly. Does it misclick often or just sometimes?

Increased my XP/h by doing this:

Script has worked very well so far been running for several hours, thank you alot for making this, only thing that could be better is if it had banking abilities but i understand we don't need 1000s of people banking their gold ore and crashing prices, not to mention gold sellers stealing scripts.

I may attempt to learn how to add banking to the script on my own at some point, this site has encouraged me to actually learn how to script because it would give people a chance to use my scripts, and for me to get help with them which is something i didn't have the first time when i started learning, i got sorta burned out and gave up.

Don't move back to that same 0,0… you'll be detected. Add some randomness on it, or rerun the finding function.

tbh bro, gold has such a high demand so that it is unlikely that botters will make the price crash that bad.
not complaining though, congratulations on the release. I already have 99 Mining, but I will hit you up with some feedback after I try this out.

honestly why would we care about crashing items? like daniel said golds are in such high demans. and with powerbot back, there are now more bots then before the bot nuke.

in my respect this community helped me alot with skills and i tweaked around and made free scripts get me 500k -2mil profit an hour. but if no banking will be added to most scripts, this communty will soon be forgotten till an other bot nuke.

Hey this is great, but the only thing i can think of that would make it better is that when there's no gold left in rock and its waiting for it to come back it can go ahead and drop the gold ore in inventory that way it spends less time dropping and more time mining.

Hey this is great, but the only thing i can think of that would make it better is that when there's no gold left in rock and its waiting for it to come back it can go ahead and drop the gold ore in inventory that way it spends less time dropping and more time mining.

People suggested before, I answered with a solution a few pages back.

Just got 80 mining, gonna try out this baby.

is there a way to make it go to other mining rock when the one your mining runs out, Cause I stopped the bot and clicked no one was sitting there waiting for the respawn sept 2 kids and me and the other two were obviously bots.

Suggestion - add summoning.

Add lava titan. It boost mining +10 and its really worth it. Without it i got like 35k per hour, with it its almost like 60k per hour with 82 mining.

Works like a dream. However, the dropping procedure was a bit slow, I took the right to modify it a bit. It might be more bot like now, but much more efficient.

Well yeah, it broke SRL, not specifically my script. Just be patient.

It should still work fine, maybe just a few edits with launching the SMART client. I don't have a members account much less much interest in Runescape at the moment with my work and college.

Not "as-is" when you download it, but you can fix it up pretty easily. Ashaman has a LRC Gold Miner that works pretty flawlessly atm, if you want to try that out.

If you don't turn off automatic updates for srl it will override the fix and you'll have to re-download the fix

Nah i haven't reported it, i needed to run some testing on it some more, i haven't used it for a few days now, ironically I don't really have much a reason to use it since i'm so close to 99 already thanks to the script :D

Mines concentrated gold in LRC (P2P RS Members). You must have 80+ mining, be wielding your pickaxe- dragon pickaxe is best. Script will constantly mine the gold and drop it, giving a lot of exp. Banking will NEVER be done for the public as it will drop the price of gold ore- this is just for XP!
