staff is called mindspike, some asshole just killed my hellcat while trying to get fucking spices.

If it's really a bug expect them to get banned. Especially after posting on youtube lol.

It was just patched, looked it up on wikia:

There was a glitch involving the mindspike which allowed a player to use it to kill NPCs, this was quickly patched on 10 February 2012.

Lol I wish, apparently it was possible at one point to steal the blue phat from the wise old man cutscene, thing is it had a different item ID so was untradable/unwearable :(
If items were dropped from NPCs I wouldn't be surprised if this was the same ;o

Im interested.. Who remembers Durial321(correct name?), the guy who did the falador massacre back in the day when fally park was the only place to trade for members.
Ran around killing people with Ice Barrage.. Ah. Good ole days.

Yeah that was immense. Do you remember as well following the introduction of construction the PoH massacre?

It would be fun to be involved with one glitch as long as there weren't big repercussions.

The Fally massacre was the PoH massacre. The bug was caused by players in combat (I'm not sure if it was a dungeon or combat ring or what) who were kicked from a PoH, which allowed them to still fight other players outside the house.

Yeah I saw a video on that before. I think the examine text said "Please send in a bug report telling us how you got this item" or something similar >.<

Also, one of my favorite glitches was a year ago after an update, at Soul Wars where when you died, it was like dying normally outside the mini game. You lost your stuff and a gravestone was placed. People had to try and rush back to their grave before they lost their stuff. I remember people raging about losing nex sets and spirit shields. It was patched within an hour though. Fortunately I didn't lose anything.
