Has anyone else noticed how much his attitude has changed since he got SRL Members? I never remember him being like this before, and the change has been recent. He was actually helpful and had good posts/threads, now, it's just a bunch of BS and trolling.

It really shows his immaturity, to me at least. He answers posts with that stupid trollface image, and it's irritating. He is acting as if the rules don't apply to him. He gives a "fuck you" attitude if you question anything about him.

Yes, he makes scripts but that doesn't mean he's above everyone else who doesn't. Becoming a Member means you earned the respect to be one, and proven yourself worthy. How many of you would of voted "Yes" on his app if he had the posts he's making now? I know I would of voted "No" if I knew this was going to happen.

EDIT: He seems bipolar at times too.

His attitude towards new members or those asking for help is getting out of hand. I think some of you know may know of the latest example (http://villavu.com/forum/showthread.php?t=74358), and yes, PatDuffy was not in the right either.

However, Pat hardly does it and is generally a nice/helpful person. He, on the other hand, hardly helps and just trolls everyone for no reason and seems to do it at every chance he gets. Almost every post I see is either a flame/attack, and the ones that aren't, are full of "<3"s to either Dynamite or Tickky (But those are another discussion).

He posts huge amounts of the :duh: smilies, often times taking up a whole line. He seems very bipolar from what I've seen of him, one minute he's fine and the next it's full on attack. He also gives me the feeling that he thinks he is above the rules, and can do whatever he wants.

I guess what I'm ranting about is, do we really want people who constantly troll/flame/attack to be Members who represent SRL? All it takes is one post, and someone will judge the whole flock as assholes because of that one person. I know I wouldn't want to be judged as an asshole because of something someone else did.

Having a colored name other than green does not make you better than anyone else, it simply means you are a solid member of this community. Shouldn't we, as members of this great community, continue to welcome anyone who decides to join? We are looked up to by those who are new or need help, we should be setting an example as to who we are and what kind of people SRL is made up of. Not trolling/flaming/attacking the new members.

I am not saying that I haven't had my share of snaps and attacks, as I know I have. It's really annoying when you're doing something for someone, for free mind you, and they flame/attack because something isn't working quite right or they're too lazy to search for the answer.

I'm trying really hard to keep my attitude on the uppity up, and trying to be more understanding of someone who is new here. Everyone snaps every now and then, especially when having a bad day.

I posted this here so there wouldn't be a drama war started in the Members section. I don't hate/dislike either one of them, but their attitude is getting annoying.

Agree 100%, just started noticing S1N's attitude within the past couple days…kinda rotten. As well as I infracted footballjds for swearing the other day and his response was basically "can't stop me".

Okay, I must be going crazy, because I swear I actually commented on that thread giving some help, which would have prevented the succeeding trolling. Have a look at footballjds' infractions, he has 3 whole pages. I personally think threatening him with a temp ban would sort out his attitude a little bit. I haven't noticed Sin to such an extent, I've seen him being useful in some areas of the forum. I genuinely haven't seen a single point of positive input from footballjds.

Wow, I never looked at his profile, that's insane! I would hate to even get one infraction :/ I doubt a threatened temp ban will even do anything.

Yeah, it's a touch and go with him. Sometimes he is helpful, others he just posts BS.

That thread is really depressing, it's exactly the behaviour we criticized other communities for. :/

A heads up whenever you guys see rude posts; Report it or warn the post! If the poster has been given a warning before or has posted multiple posts then turn that warning into an infraction.

When in doubt: Report.

I talked to Sin a couple days ago, he said he would try to do better. He's been having a bit of a rough time outside SRL. But he said he would try to only post when he had something nice/constructive to say.

TBH, I don't find his posts to be 'rude'. Not at footbaljds' level, anyways.

I wouldn't be against suspending him for a few months.

Another person that falls under the same category as S1N is XxX Toxin XxX. Ever since becoming apart of the SRL Member rank, I've noticed that he's been rather arrogant - especially on applications.

EDIT: Also, I agree on footballjds's attitude. I've disliked it for a very long time. When he returned after his break, he was pretty good and at least utilised the English language (not sure if everyone remembers, but when he got into members, before and after, he couldn't write properly. Although, he was mildly better than P1nky at the time [thank god he's improved too!]). And now of late, he just uses it to negatively criticise and troll people - not what I like to see.

Ah yeah I see what you mean. :/ If I'm not mistaken people have warned footballjds in the past to clean up his act, yes? I don't pay a whole lot of attention to him so I dunno if it's really working, but after a certain amount of infractions/warnings should the user not be punished? Irregardless of rank.

Sin is still new, and yeah I can tell from those posts he has become pretty arrogant, that's for sure, but just incase you guys are thinking of taking action against him I would suggest simply reminding him about the principles of SRL and how things work here. Maybe instead of straight off warning him "Hey, cool it or you're cruisin' for a bruisin'" (:garfield:) we could just have an admin / moderator send him a PM reminding him we're all friends here, and what sets us apart from other communities is we keep things at a mature level. Ya know, something like that…

To be honest, I think footballjds needs a temp ban for awhile. He has been given plenty of chances to change, warnings, and infractions. From the history of his Infractions, they go on from year to year, that alone should be enough prompt for a temp ban.

As for Sin, I just think he needs to be reminded how a true SRL Member is suppose to act and behave. I don't think a temp ban is needed, as of yet, but that could change. It seems it happened shortly after he got his Scripter Cup, and if I would of known he was going to have this kind of attitude, I wouldn't have ever suggested it :/

I agree with your idea Flight (As usual :p), and maybe someone should be made an example out of, just to show that the attitude isn't welcome here. I don't know, just an idea.

About both: someone should talk to them first. Do not threaten to ban, that just makes things worse. Staff is there to be supportive of our members, we aren't just police agents.
I'll talk to them this weekend if no one else does it before.

This is how I'm thinking we should handle this: If a warning doesn't do the trick, PM him/her about it. If that doesn't do the trick, Infract him for his following offences until the 3-point temp ban due to infractions occur

Saw Sin attacking Scaper, warned him in the public that he needs to watch his attitude.

I'd normally see this as an opportunity to throw some insults your way, Daniel (:garfield:), but in this case I truly agree ya. Does anyone else find it odd that both of their attitudes took a nose dive at (or in?) around the same time frame?

They're not exactly who I would nominate to represent that rank as a whole.

I've learned to just ignore them, really. That's the only thing you can do. I hate how they post pictures of their rep and glorify getting derepped.

You won't get rid of them by banning them so it's best just to keep an eye on them as they are in my opinion.

I have seen so many threads like the one above where he is just "stirring up trouble, or poking the fire". I feel like so many of his posts are in direct violation of the misbehavior, insulting other members, and bask-seat moderating rules.

I know I am just a nobody here on the forums, so why should anyone listen to me but I really do enjoy coming to this website everyday and I hate seeing people like Shay demoralize people like me and, even worse, people who are just getting started on this forum.

He used to be a bit better than this. I mean, he never used to attack new members, but he still swore a lot. Then he went on break for some time, came back and was all nice and mature, then turned into what he currently is.

Sending him back to juniors would really just give him attention wouldn't it? Isn't that probably what he wants?

I agree with you all, I just came back from holiday and checked all those links, Shays (S1N's) attitude is very bad, and hurts community, he is an attention whore, nothing we can do, if Yohojos trick works I will be amazed but this is our last chance in my opinion before ban.

The first (and hopefully this is what happens) is he'll find out first hand that his attitude isn't going unnoticed and action had to be taken; enough to make him take our warnings seriously. I honestly doubt fjds hacked anyone, he seems to have no interest at all for RS. If he let fjds see his computer through TeamViewer, he would of noticed something going on.

Also, when people say they were hacked here, they always say they never used anything else but Simba. That is never the truth. I bet he used a java client at some point.

We should not be flaming these guys in public threads. That makes us look just as bad as them. Yes, their attitudes get on our nerves, obviously that's true or we wouldn't have these threads. But it doesn't help anything to flame them in public.

This forum has always been lax on discipline, and that doesn't help things here. But we just need to infract the guy (which we've been doing), so we need to have some administrators talk to him, then temp ban if necessary. The goal isn't to kick people, it's to correct so they'll act better.

I'm pm'ing football about removing the GIF of someone doing drugs via nasal in his sig, however I'm not active enough to ensure he removes it. Could someone check on it in a day or two?

Brandon I went ahead and deleted all those comments as the were pointless to the thread. Try not too get into a pissing match with them on the lower boards it looks bad all around. If possible try to keep it in PM or report it. But I agree with what you were saying there.

Is this infractable?? Obvs he is pushing the limits (yet again)
