It said he and another youth beat and kicked the boy and threatened him with a knife until he logged into RuneScape and dropped the objects in 2007.
One of the thieves, who was also playing the game, was then able to pick up the items, making them his virtual property.

Only if he hadn't threatened him with the knife, I would blame the court being stupid with the decision they came up with :X

WOW…well, I would get pissed if someone had my things, but I highly doubt I would be capable of doing such thing..

Happened long ago, items are probably a Fury and h'ween mask (Virtual amulet and virtual mask they were called).
Right decision imo, as it's just like regular theft with force. I think even hacking of RS accounts may be considered theft with this in mind.

Okay, I realise that (not an complete idiot :) ) but if there are 47k players on at a decent time, and I've yet to see it breach 70k in the last few months… How the hell is there 10 million active players.

Hmmm What do they classify as 'active' ?
