I made a general observation the other day in that BF3 players seem to hate on CoD players, but that CoD players frankly couldn't care less. I expect it's probably because we're lost in our world of CoD and don't even notice other games

In my mind this is how it is:
CoD: MW series - Let's keep creating the same game with tiny graphics adjustments and change some of the game options each release, just so they think its an entirely new game when in reality its the same thing…and we get tons of money just because we put our name on it and threw it out there.

BF series - Let's create a kickass new game every time, with amazing advances in graphics. That way, if they get bored of one of our games, putting in another one is a completely different experience and they aren't bored of all of our games just because they played one of them.

Definitely should be on BF3. PSN: AhhBlackPeople

I have BF2, I honestly before I bought MW3 thought that Battlefield was MUCH better than cod, but after playing cod, it was MUCH more exciting.
Battlefield = after 10 minutes of running across the map you finally get sniped out by a camper only to start again
MW3 = Start a gunfight within 20 seconds

MW maps are typically run and gun. Which takes real team strategy. The best part about BF3 is getting with friends in a squad and raping the other team.

Don't take me wrong, I adore BF and COD both, but BF3 takes ALOT of patience.

Well yes, works on me :P MW3 is far less glitched, although it does have some, I admit. The actual tactics required for the games have changed drastically. From camping with a sniper on mw, to camping with a grenade launcher on mw2, to camping with a type95 on mw3. The variation is undeniable.

I don't think people play CoD because of the tactics. That's the selling point, no real thought required…

People camp too much on both of them, when I play MW I play Hardcore Search and Destroy or CTF. Only game variations I like, takes more skill than just running and gunning.

Meant to say "NO" real team strategy btw….
But I guess that's why MW gets sold to the masses, it causes little to no brain activity. They can sit there and vegetate. You should all give up on shooter games and play RTS's like Starcraft 2.
