I never got a single snow day in canada even at -31C :( They just assume we love snow (which we do :p). BUT WE STILL WANNA HAVE SNOW DAYS!!:(

it used to not here, when I was in middle school we had 5ft of snow and it didn't close
they close down colleges because accident percentages, when it gets over a certain amount in the morning they close them down to avoid it

Lots of snow in Netherlands, trains are a mess but got home just in time without any delay.

Sunny RSA seldom has snow - and when it does it will be somewhere in the Drakensberg - between Johannesburg and Durban.
As to our national transport system - oh, I forgot, we don't have one. We do have trains, planes, automobiles and taxis - but if any of them actually run (because of the constant wage strikes, taxi wars and power grid issues) and do arrive on schedule then it's purely by mistake.
Time to emigrate to the first world me thinks!!
