Closest there is to that is the SRL Member's script section, you need to be a member to view it.

Private : belonging to some particular person: private property.

There are script sections for the public, SRL Members, SSRL Members and SRL Developers ;)

Why would someone post a private script? Doesnt it stop being private if it is posted?

Close to impossible for you to become SSRL in next 1-2 years

PS You cant really get anywhere with paying money here

lolz, start with SRL Member ;)

SSRL Members are the creme of the crop of SRL members and are veterans.

NO ranks at SRL can be bought, they must be earned. Use the search button to find out about each rank.

SRL Members scripts aren't worth it to be honest, if you can make a script that's worthy of becoming a Member, then you can make any script you want.

Any good f2p scripts in members+?
I know most of the scripts on the forums and ones used to apply are runescape members scripts so being a f2per, its hard to make p2p scripts and so I would just like to know if theres anything to look forward to. If not I will still apply eventually of course, but it would be nice for more inspiration if that makes any sense.

Why apply for the scripts? Do it for the respect and recognition that you took the initiative to learn.

SRL Members doesn't mean anything like it use to, and that's sad.

Im not applying for the scripts, as said above I am f2p and most scripts are p2p. I was just asking. I could care less. I dont bot much anymore anyways. I just wanted to know because obviously I would use the scripts so I was asking if there was anything special to look forward to that was f2p. Im all for the respect and recognition. That is what I am trying to get before I make my script so I go into applying with a good rep.

Totally Agreed, when i finally get around to posting some of my works, ( once i get them working properly) as i only do it a little bit at a time due to the fact i have commitments, i will be doing it for the fact i am SRL members not for the fact that i will be able to access something, its like a thing of prestige and to know that you have achieved something :)

What did being an SRL Member mean in the good old days ? Why has it changed ? Why can you not go back to the way it was ? Was it really as good as you are suggesting - or is this just nostalgia talking ?

I still see it as something. What you have to realise though, is that Kyle Undefined and most other SSRL's have been around for years. And the feeling of first getting into SRL Members kinda disappears. It is exactly the same as it was then, and it hasn't changed nor diminished one bit.

I may have to agree with this (within my limited viewpoint)
I felt really good about getting into Members, really accomplished. Felt like I'd proven something and gave me motivation to go on proving it.

I kind of agree with this. There's no holy grail tbh and I think it's more about what you have learned and the recognition you earned by getting membership.

In my opinion, the number of public scripts actually outnumbers that in the members section in terms of variety by quite a bit. (not sure SSRL and above though, but i guess it would be pretty much the same)

You'll probably get almost everything you need if you keep learning and participate in the community.

Basically, Daniel hit the nail on the head. However, even though I do see it as something, it doesn't seem like it means anything to the new members. They see it as another place to leech, not as an accomplishment.

Then make it more difficult! Those who stay and make a go of it, and gain their SRL Members will be worth having and those who don't will obviously have gone looking for easier pastures - most likely the next plug and play bot that has made it's appearance.

Forget SRL Membership…. The rank you really want here is "Galactic President Superstar McAwesomeville"

Like everyone is saying here, if you take the time to write a script, good enough to be an srl member then you pretty much dont need to use the scripts in the section.

Only thing I find usefull are ideas for scripts and functions and so on. You can learn easily by going through the free scripts and seeing how they work.

And most important I beleive whats lacking in 99 percent of scripts are fail safes that will keep the script alive and running. There are always 10 things that can go wrong color scripting, you just need to plan for the event that may or could happen.

I do believe either me or nosaj.21 were the last member to be chosen.
They've really upgraded the threshold haha.

There's a lot more people getting No's on their application now. Members are cracking down on who gets accepted and making sure they have decent scripting knowledge, etc.

Ouch means I have to try harder :p.

I have observed a few things from the recent members applications.

- Sadly a decent number of applications are without scripts or helloworld or non simba scripts. Those usually get straight nos and are closed.
- For the remaining ones, I think the voting is more stringent than I first imagined. You are not only expected to get things to work, but also be able to show you have diverse knowledge about scripting in general. That said, DTMs, good failsafes, comments, more customized object finding (don't rely completely on FindObjEx), walking (voters want to see more than SPS), and so on.
- Good presence in the community, e.g. helping people, public releases, getting on irc. also helps a lot to present yourself as a potential asset of the community.

I can't help to stress again that, if you're only applying for getting access to the members+ scripts, then don't bother. If you instead learn scripting to a level that qualifies you for members, you should be able to do most of the scripts you need.

I think I was lucky because my voting went rather slowly compared to the other apps.
