They keep mentioning new anti-bot updates and software all the time. Basically it s race, jagex updates their game then all the bot devs (mainly us) fix up our scripts and try to get as much time in before the next update.
I don't think they can come up with software that will be able to beat colour bots (unless, as mentioned in a different thread, they go into rs black & white mode), all they can do is keep updating models and colours to try and break our bots.
On a side note:
I guess in a way we are very healthy for the rs community as we are constantly forcing new graphics/model/colour updates out of jagex.
And imagine how much the economy would suck if all the basic gathering bots were all of a sudden removed, raw materials would rise tenfold.

Yeah, there's no way they don't know about the packet sniffers.
Simba worked on rs literally 2 minutes after the first bot nuke, and I can guarantee you that we can have a power miner/fletcher/woodcutter made within a hour (depends on typing speed of course) within any update jagex throws out (unless they switch to download only).
Same goes for rid and runedream (maybe longer because its in java hehe).
