SRL Archive - RS3 Outdated / Broken Scripts

Hey guys, just releasing a script ^.^

What it does:

• Fishes at Karamja
• Notes it at Stiles
• Swordfish and Tuna / Lobster support
• Will add lobster pot to toolbelt if it's there

Requirements;

• 40/60 Fishing
• It's best if you run this in a F2P world where you can blend in with the crowd

Known Bugs:

• It will hop to a new fishing spot - Will fix with PixelShift later on
• SPS Walking from Stiles to the fishing spot is VERY slow, but not the other way

Just got done running it. It sits around not clicking fishing spots sometimes, and spam clicks "exchange" when it gets to stiles. I had to restart it after that.

Do you use PixelShift to determine if your still fishing? (I use it, works really well)

Went to Karamja to start the script and the dock was empty, wtf? I started it anyway…kinda worried I'll look suspicious. Doesn't seem to stick with one spot, I'll be fishing one and then it clicks on another even tho the spot I was at was still good. I'll give you a proggy in the morn!

Ran it 3 times. It will fish the spot but click on another spot quickly and run around sometimes from spot to spot. It also just gets a full load, exchanges, goes back to dock and ends.

Running good now will post a progy soon

idk why theres the solved lamp in there, it does that everytime i run it. i pmd you the version im running with changes. ill post back later with a better length of time.

For some reason it keeps clicking harpoon when i want it to do lobsters

you need to change it from 'Harpoon' to 'Cage' at the top if ur caging

sick script just keeps clicking the spots making it difficult to fish

Also, script does exchanges at stiles comes back and logs out. Does that have anything to do with setting the time?

Edit: It Clicks the cage Locations every 5-10 seconds and doesnt stay on 1 fishing spot.
Edit2: After Resetting the script it seems to work better but still moves fishing spots to early.

i finally got a progress report up and working, i havent verified lobs, but they should work. sin ill pm you it. for some reason when you look for dtms by stiles it gives many false positives. the dtms i have now work at the docks, but when im by stiles somehow it detects a swordfish in every inventory spot, and it says i have a lamp which clearly i dont. therefore i changed the stiles random to findnoninvrandoms so it stops pestering about a lamp that doesnt exist. itll still look for them at the docks though.

so for now i put the counting at the dock before it walks to stiles, then it shows the proggy right after stiles because i tore apart walking there and walking back.

you can read through it again, i put random debug in there for myself when i was doing the dtms.

I have no good proggies because im constantly stopping it to tweak things. heres another short one, but hopefully i can let it run for a bit now.

Im gunna run this now, Iv been running siel's and must say his script is quiet affective even tho its simple ill report back here with results for you :)

The req are wrong. You only need 50 fishing to catch swordies.

There's no point fishing swordfish at50. All you will get is Tuna.

Take a look at the proggy by Bolshak and tell me if it "sucks".

i feel like those are longer than 9 minutes, but i may be bad at math

I know why it only runs for around 9 Minutes.
9 minutes is the time it takes to do ONE load.

If you look on the user filled variable-

TimeToStop := 999;

is .9 seconds in MILISECONDS. Is it my fault you forgot to change it? I clearly state in the script to change that to how long you run.

It will obviously only do ONE run if the TimeToStop is at 999 miliseconds.

For the lazy people, i've already changed it to 9999999 in the newest version, so you don't have to be troubled.

But when it goes to note it seems to laggy..maybe it cuz my laptop.

I've had some issues with it fishing the wrong type of fish. With the toolbelt update Ive been filling my inv with random fish other than swords and tuna. This in turn messes up everything else. Your inv fills and then there is like one space for actual fish which sucks. But all in all good script

Did you set which one you want to fish…?

Timing is a bit slow on finding the fishing spot, will PixelShift fix that?
and I got it to work finally, It was the lag from a busy world causing the error. Great script man! Lovin it.

what i have to add to the script in "procedure WalkToStiles" to make the charachter stop for awhile(0.5 - 1 sec) after each click on the way to Stiles?

Hey, i'm quite new to this scene went over how to make scripts so i can understand how to load them and use them. I have yours up and running, so far so good =) thank you, i will post back in a few hours. cheers

edit: Works pretty good, can't really explain how to fix problems seeing as i don't really come to understand anything yet. main thing i saw was when fishing spot changed it would take a few minutes to notice but then again i'm not sure if you did that purposely for the effect of someone afking, also while walking (low level account) it seems to stop by the level 5 snakes for a bit which is a bit risky last thing i saw was the noting of food, When it miss-clicked stiles the bot would walk around for a few minutes clicking on and behind the tree, quite obvious, until it corrected and went back on track.

It shouldn't take "a few minutes", it checks every 30 Seconds.

Stiles colour seems to be off, i'll check on it after this Science review T_T

Script is just what I'm looking for, i'll give it a try now and give a review in a few hours.

Edit: The script kinda just sits there on the runescape login screen when I get it up and running. I put my username password and world on the script before running. Not sure if I'm making an error while trying to use it?

Yeah I did, worked until it went to note the fish (swords and tuna) it ran behind the stiler guy, froze and then ran back to docks without noting…?

Bolshak, could u tell me what computer characteristics do u have,if it's not a secret? Because on my laptop with celeron 2.2 Hhz, videocard 256 Mb, and2 Gb of DDR, it just make screen freez (when char goes to Stiles), and i have to pause and again run script while he get notes.

When Fishing @ Karajama.
It fishes fully inventory of lobster, but then when it walks to Notes it at Stiles, but then it just clicks around that around without noting the lob, then it walks back to fishing spot, then again it walks to STILES, like forever!!!! :(

It happened after 1hour of fishing!

So freaking annoying!

Cuz of this bug, i died, but lucky i wasn't sleeping and recovered my 2.5k Lobbies
Btw, am lvl 3.

i dont know if its me or not but is this script working for anyone at the moment it just seems to spin arounD and around is this because i dont have the lobster pot in my inv?

it won't click on the Cage bit on the water just spins looking at each spot :/

I got a bug for this. Leaving it on another tab besides inventory makes it bug. And try to continue fishing with a full invo of fish.

I already have 99 fishing but I ran it for an hour and from what I can see:

1. Sometimes it glitches up around the guy who notes your fish, my character walked around him for about 2 minutes before exchanging
2. Walking back to fishing spot takes a long time (although you haved noted this already I think)
3. Detecting the fishing spot that you need to fish from is kind of buggy, with a lobster cage I watched the bot try and fish from a net/bait spot for a couple of minutes.

Other than that it's extremely solid and its just these minor things stopping it from being amazing. Nothing major. Once again thank you (Sorry if I sound bad I'm kind of drunk)

Im using the script. but idk why it keep stoping at the guy who turns ur fish to notes… and sometime it just stands there and not do anything. Then it just walks back to the fishing spot with full inv… i think u can fix it

Thats saddening man =\ I only go on and check out other scripts as I am working on another skill for a another week or so but its good to stay informed.

Anyway this looks good, ill give it a go later on and let you know. Good on ya for all the awesome script releases Sin :)

After the runescape update today.
The bot takes takes so long to realize it has full inventory of lobster.
It turns the camera, and keeps on clicking on the Cage fishing spot.
and it doesn't walk to the stile for note lobbies.
It does eventually after like 2-5mins.
It happens randomly, like evey 5/2 times.

this bot doesnt work anymore, mine has spent the last hour trying to note the lobbys

just turning camera all day :….(

still works like a charm to me :) just have to make small updates guys.

i changed tpas to dtms and added a tile dtm in front of stiles so if it doesnt see him, itll click the tile.

ill post a proggy when i go fishing again

Thanks it's working fine for now. I have a quick question though. An image appeared on my desktop when I opened the script, is that normal? Seems a bit sketchy.

This and Siel's are both great scripts but this one is slightly slower. Great job!

Takes time to detect that inv is full but otherwise script's good. I know its near impossible but a deathwalk will make this script awesome ^^

Getting killed by scorpions? >.< Maybe just level your combat a little. (If skiller then idk what to say, if goldfarmer then..)

I bot multiple accounts with this script but I wouldn't call myself a goldfarmer. All the resources/gold I bot is used by me for my personal accounts. The lobsters are either cooked and then used as low level food or they are sold for one gp above mid in ge. They sell slow but I can wait.

I have a problem just started 2 hours ago… i dont know if its runescape but my bot doesnt find stiles and exchanges anymore…. never had this problem until now. just need any advice or help if anyone knows what to do. thanks. and this is a great script been using it for weeks and no problems.

This looks like the only decent fishing script that there is, I hope it works. I'll post back with comments/proggies later.

i dont want to pester you or anything but i think adding run selection would be amazing because if you ran back and fourth and would rest possibly or just let it regen while fishing and run back and fourth to note it would be alot more efficient

Its so big because I had my swordfish gloves on, so it probably counted the swordfish as 2. but great script. Thank you very much!

I uninstalled simba and deleted the folder, reinstalled simba and all plugins… updated too.

If you scrolled up you'd have found out how to fix it…

I've been testing this out, some problems:
There's no wait in the for to do loop when searching for stiles/fishing spot, so it moves the mouse around like crazy. I added a wait there.
The SPS Path is unnecessary, I just added blindwalks to and from stiles.
I made it rotate the compass south so that you face the sea, and I made the camera angle low so that the players don't mess up the screen when you right click
Needs more failsafes all around, but (mostly) works right now after my fixes.
