SRL Archive - RS has been updated.

I believe this came with the update on Feb 1… the screen flashes black (0,0,0) for about 2 ms every second.

It's not noticeable to the human eye, but it will screw up colour bots. Maybe there should be an option to wait a few ms when getting colours, if the screen is totally black?

Don't know how this went unnoticed… However Ive been botting for a while now yet no delay?

Everything works fine for me? How did you find this out?

He's wrong, this wasn't in the update, just wait till optimus is out, if that doesn't stop simba then nothing will unless the game goes black and white which I HIGHLY doubt.

optimus isint targeting color bots, jagex stated that they are working on ANOTHER project to combat "screen scrapers" though.

You never know what they could bring out with optimus.

It's probably client sided. Check your gfx card -> monitor settings,. and adjust your screen res.

I mean, I'll take his word for it, considering he's working with OpenGL. But that would be really annoying if Jagex is doing that.

Hmm… I tested this with the browser client and SMART, and neither have this issue. It was probably just a TRiBot+Safe Mode related issue. :p

But anyone to think that Jagex isnt specially targeting Simba and the way it works to break it with Optimus, is nieve. they are a multi million dollar company and right now Simba is their biggest enemy in the botting scene, so anyone with half a brain would know they are specifially going to try to break Simba.. Think about it, what would you do if you were them?

I don't believe this to be true at all. The biggest problem is still the gold farmers.

Just because RSBUDDY & PB and co, are not up and running does not mean the gold farmers are gone. You only need to look at Green Dragons and Sorc Garden to see that they are back (if not in the same numbers as before)

I'm not saying that they are not aware of Simba, i'm sure they are - but nailing Simba ( if possible) is not the best use of their resources.
