Ok, so say there are two colored brown objects on screen, one picks something up and the other is a ladder, how do you make the script only go up ladder, and i can't use between certain points integers.

You can make an objtpa which will only choose a color with a certain number of matching pixels with a certain width and height. TPAs/ATPAs should solver your problem.

EDIT: You could also try to pick a unique color for the ground object or ladder, doesn't necessarily have to be a shade of brown.
