My suggestion would be that Simba could make use of Virtual Mouse and Keyboard drivers.
This would provide some future proofing from an abundant amount of anti hack measures that might be ported to Java.
These measures ignore all clicks except those coming directly from the drivers of the mouse and keyboard or so I am to believe, hence Virtual Drivers take the place of the actual drivers and would allow Simba to continue functioning.
I realise this is probably quite some effort but perhaps it would be useful for future proofing? I would love to know what any one else thinks.
For some reason nothing I write on these forums manages to come out in plain English.
