Mobilising Armies Script

I know I have a really low postcount etc which is why instead of just asking for this script I was wondering if anyone could help me make one. I have absolutely NO EXPERIENCE and do not use my computer very often at all so this will take a very long time.

The reason I want to start with a Mobilising Armies script is because there isn't one on this site yet and I would also like to be able to imbue rings on my new account.

All that it needs to do is play the Siege game mode of Mobilising Armies for four minutes and suicide after this. Doing this will get you 1 rank.

PM or post for more details.

There you go, learn how to script, make a good script, and apply for members. You got to earn the cool scripts =)

Ha ha!! Sorry - I gotta chuckle at this. I read it often here. You may start off wanting to learn to script so you can get your grubby paws on the really good ones (aka member scripts) - but by the time you become one you might just as well write your own. :)

I agree, member scripts are overrated. I don't really use scripts made by others. I get that feeling of acomplishment when I use my own even if it might not get me as much experience as the other scripts, I feel happy that I DID something =)

Scripting is a lot of fun, should find the time, put effort into it and learn to walk the path

Perhaps some of the scripts are over-rated but I would never say that (particularly at this stage) because I have not got to that level which permits me to say that - even if true. What I will say though is when you get to that level as a scripter - I think a certain level of pride then steps in and almost demands that you do it yourself. Borrowing the occasional excellent routine is OK - but (IMO) a whole script - no. And like you say - you get that personal pat on the back.

Mmh, I script for the fun of it. As long as what I'm making is of interest to me, I don't mind. Don't really do requests for that reason. I am trying to save all of my time for my Slayer script and those pesky Randoms =)

I suppose that as you work on your own scripts that what you should do - not that you do this when you first start scripting - is to produce re-usable procedures / functions that you can plug into whatever you are working on. Doing is this way would more than likely take longer initially, but you would reach a point where writing big scripts would take less and less time.

EDIT: Yes, I suppose the key to their difficulty is the word 'RANDOM' :)
