SRL Archive - Celebratory Events

Hey guys, as many of you may have noticed I've been at 8,999 posts for over a week or so, and boy it was NOT easy at all.

I kind of cheated and when I REALLY needed to post I did, and just deleted some of my older (not of much use/spam) posts :p.

I normally like to have something new, exciting, etc every time I reach an Xkth post which is why I held off for so long.

What I have for you now isn't super special or exiting, but I've got some plans and ideas brewing in the noggin.

For now, I present to you ABCD
[A] [B]ar [C]ocolate [D]uster
(Sorry no sexy name this time)

It's super duper simple, just cuts chocolate bars at the F2P 1-Click bank chest located at 'Gamers' Grotto'.
Based on market prices for Chocolate Bars/Chocolate Dust it seems to make a stable 250k/hr f2p (neato?!)

The code is super simple, took about 45 or less minutes to write, but it has good falsies and I'll edit it more in the future.

The cool part about it, is the paint! Thanks a lot to euphemism for a nice function he tweaked and modded from painsmart for me which I used in my Dr.Dick script.

I took the painting and progress report to a whole new level (I know it's been done and is an old technique, but hey it's pretty neat, and mine looks pretty nice, no?)!

Real time painted progress reports with images!
(nothing too complex, just looks really awesome!)

Will release the script in a few days, probably tomorrow.

Besides that, I PLAN to clean up the code, optimize, and create similar fancy painted progress reports for each and every one of my scripts!

This means faster power mining, coal banking, gatestone casting, demon killing etc, along with cleaner, more efficient code, and sexy paint!

P.M.S. already has this paint implemented into it

and it works pretty well, but there are a handful of other fixes I want to do before releasing it yet.

So I leave you with that, and hope it makes you all a bit happier inside and looking forward to new scripts users and memories here at SRL!

Long live SRL, I wish us all many more scripts, new comers, scripting techniques, and an ever growing sense of comradery and friendship!

I had some really nice pictures from a big birthday party I have, but they are not with me at my apartment, maybe my 10K will have those (just wait a few days :p).

Here is one from around Christmas Time.
I had to draw out clues to have my teammates guess the TV Show "America's Next Top Mode", I won :D!

Herp, now I'm at 9,000

Kongratulations! Wasn't it like a week ago we just celebrated your 8k? 0_0

JKs a side, thanks a lot for helping out the community and hope to have more fun with you on sythe:P

BTW, you never got back to me about the mil/rsgp I owe you for that pin :p

Congrats User #36 AKA YoHoJo :)

I always forget :p.
How much do you owe me?

Thank you, and yes it's sometimes a bit fun going to Sythe and tag teaming it up to hype up Simba, SRL, and our awesome community! I'm sure we've recruited some great members over time!

I owe you 1 pin since like december, name ya price:P

Great stuff. 9001 now. ;) It's officially OVER NINE THOUSAND! :norris:

Geeeeeez I'll never catch up to that. Congratulations on your 9k, YoHoJo. Wow, so close to hitting the 5-digits.

Wanna hear a fun fact about DBZ? 9000 was translated wrong, it's really 8000
in DB Kai (remake of DBZ with less story more fighting [it sucks]) they used over 8000 in the sold copy but the copies that were aired they said 9000 lol

meme's mean too much to the tv obviously!

grats though ~
