I saw a thread or 2 asking how to do this. Thing is an online proxy will not fool java programs and runescape is java based. What you need is a socks 5 proxy in your java settings. Socks5 proxies fool even java programs but can be slow or laggy you just have to keep trying to find the best one. Socks5 proxies saved me from getting banned in the aryan days.
Im not making a nice pretty tutorial someone else can do that Im just gonna do it in text.

This is the best free proxy list on the net I have found.
Find a proxy with the lowest numbered response time and the highest percentage uptime.
Take that number (example) 75.21.101.122:18102 and copy and paste it on this websites checker.

Be sure to delete the stuff in the box first.
By the way 75.21.101.122:18102 is an awesome proxy at the moment.
If the proxy is good it will say socks 4 or 5 proxy good after checking! Keep trying untill you find a proxy that the checker says is a good socks5 proxy.
Now you have to take the proxy that you got that is good above and break it down to ip and port(example)
75.21.101.122:18102
The ip of this proxy is 75.21.101.122:
The port is the last digits and it is 18102
Now you have to tell java that you want to use a proxy. If you do not have javaweb start under your program files follow the beneath instructions. If you do then click it to start it.
Now do this if java web start is not on your program files. Hit start button. Go to run. Hit C:. Then hit the browse button. Go to the java folder and double click. Click the next folder that comes up which is your current version of java. Now double click javaws folder. Then click the javaws icon for the program to start it.
Now that you are in your java settings you can set a socks 5 proxy into it to hide your ip.
In the java program go to file button then select preferences. It will now show the option to put in a proxy address. Use the proxy site to find the best proxy ip as stated above.Then break it down into ip address and port. Then you will need to enter those numbers into the correct fields.
Select use manual proxy and enter the ip from the proxy you have chosen into the http ip field and the port number from the proxy you have chosen into the http port field.
Now thats it. To turn off the proxy if it is bad just follow the above instructions and set the preferences to proxy none. Then your java settings will not be using a proxy. Best way to see if the proxy works is to try to log into runescape. If it dont log in then select another proxy and try again.
Proxys dont last long and some lag and some dont. Log in one time and look at the last logged in ip. Then log out and back in. If the (you last logged in from) ip changes then your proxys working!
Warning. Proxies can get you banned for one reason. Someone cant log in from one state or country one minute and another the next. So choose your proxies wisely. But remember if its an account your autoing for cash it dont matter. Best not have your mains and autoers ips the same!
And if a proxy goes bad you wont even be able to load java untill you turn it back to (proxy none) under preferences. So if it dont load go find a new proxy or turn it off!
