Once again, people get on my nerves. They demand scripts and updates. They want to pay for them, but they still don't understand that this is not how our community works.
Sorry for posting, but I felt the need. Just wanted to get it out. If a mod reads this can you give him an infraction or something? He's still asking me to get it done
today, then he'll pay me for it.

This really pisses me off, I try my hardest to ignore them.

Yeah, I do my best to deal with it in the calmest way, but they can be very persistent -.-

Yeah, i have been name called a couple of times for pointing them in the direction, rather then handing them the answer. They will eventually learn, or leave. Just try to ignore it :)
I guess it could be a bit easier for me, as i am used to this kind of behavior from my younger brother.

He's an idiot, just see the thread he made over a simple warning and ignoring everything we said about it.

Ya, I release my chinhunting bot with compiling errors for them to fix, and they still complain and demand updates (but now i have loads of blue boxes in my UserCP; none of them have any rep lol).
I think thats a gread idea. Also maybe we pm the script instead of giving out the link out there, and force them to post proggie and constructive feed back/observations. If they don't then they don't get access to next updated one.

Totally agree with this :( , sadly I have noticed Leechers do not bother posting proggies anymore except for updates or stupid spam saying 'nice script'.
Sigh, this generation of Leechers, not so helpful

This is so true! If you check out my fletching script thread, there are leechers that use the script and then post that they got 99. They don't bother to post the proggies on their way to their 99 :/ Speaking of this… I might move my fletching scipt to members? Because I'm going to be inactive for a year (thread in news section soon!) and I would like it to be better managed by the more respected members :)

No they wont.
Either they will get sick of us and leave, or they will learn to learn. It's pretty much as simple as that, and really are the only two possible outcomes. Either way, we win.

Well, with all the hype the RuneDream client is getting hopefully they leave and go leech over there.

I'm tired of people applying with no script, or without reading the requirements. JR Member section needs to come back, and only they should be allowed to apply.

I honestly don't think you guys can even comprehend the number of users out there that want to bot. They simply cannot even play the game without a bot. Some peoples lives/income came from botting, as pathetic as that is.
I for one, 100% agree with Jr. Members section, even though all the scripts in there will be leaked, however the number of applications coming into Members will be significantly less. Jr. Members should be members for at least a few months before they should be allowed to apply to members, that way we know that they're dedicated and don't just want to get in here to leak a script. I can see a few morons out there deliberately learning how to script to get into members to release everything out into the public, and yes, I agree, that is scary.
Like… our forums are already flooded with spammers and it's only going to get worse because everything that is posted in non-members is 'technically 'free', no knowledge of scripting, or even SRL for that matter is needed.
…just my two cents…

Not only we win, but also the new members!
It has always been like this. Soon a new bot will enter the scene and then we can continue doing what we do best.

Let's hope so WT, because this is getting ridiculous, personally I don't know how you as the owner put up with it. I guess you see things differently than most of us do, considering you've done it for quite the time.
